I was at STK last Friday and had a blast, it was my second time there and the food was as I remember and even better than last. Service was great and I took the servers suggestion on the Watermelon Salad as one of my choices and is now one of my new favorite combinations (who would have thought watermelon, tomato, truffle and goats cheese would be like that together), for my entree I had the 6oz filet with foie gras, LOVED IT!!! We were there for another drink or two and left very satisfied. We will be there again.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. Neither of us liked it at all. We spoke with the couple right at the next table and they didn't like it at all either. Stay away fromt eh cold seafood app. No good. What you are paying for here is the atmosphere. The drinks are good but the steak is not. I have honestly had better steak at Outback. The service was ok as well. If you still are wanting to go make sure you bring your credit card because you will need it. The DJ there was good so that made things seem better.

This is a place to see, be seen, and hope to get into the club downstairs. The steak is average but you will pay top-tier prices. If you really need to eat on Lil West 12th and somebody else is paying, then go for it.

My group of 3 waited an hour despite having a reservation that was made a month in advance. The food was average at best, especially given the price. The baby scallops were microscopic and the veggies were way too greasy. Good atmosphere but I won't be going back anytime soon.

STK is my new favorite spot. The steak and lobster is incredible, and the sides are well portioned and delicious. You definitely need to arrive early because there usually is a wait, even when you have a reservation, but once you're seated the service is great. If you dont like loud music at dinner, you may not like this spot, but it does cater to a younger crowd. Definitely get dessert - the brownie smore is heaven.

I have dined at numerous steak restaurants in NYC and others in major cities around the country. I know what a steakhouse should be and STK isn't it. The meat is not aged nor is the cut anything special. I ordered a sirloin and got a ribeye on the bone over cooked. The management was accomodating, but at that point I was fed up already. Beware of waitstaff who know nothing about wine or food and who are rude when it comes to waiting on you (i.e. peforming their job). I would honestly pass and go to smith and wollensky, luger's, spark's, del friscos or even capital grille. At least there you know what you are getting.

We had 8:00 reservations and we were shown to our table right away. The atmosphere is very fun and upbeat. Dim lighting, remixed 80's music was playing that night a little louder than a normal restaurant, but not too loud! The tables were large enough to enjoy the company without feeling crowded when the food came out. Very comfortable booth! The "shrimp rice krispies" appitizer was awesome! The 6oz. filet was nothing short of amazing and the the desserts (we had two different kinds, the smores and a brownie with hazelnut ice cream) were to die for! We were given such wonderful service. I highly recomend STK to anyone who enjoys great food, great people, and a unique atmosphere! The price was about the same as going to a Ruth's Chris Steak House which is a great value for the memories you'll walk out with! You'll want to go again! Try the club 10 June below the restaurant as well! Get there earlier if you can because there are lines..we got there earlier so we didn't wait in a line. I believe they open at midnight?
