Sticky's Finger Joint
Posted by GV Eater on 08/16/2012
What a pleasant surprise. I've had the General Tso, "Regular" and "naked". All 3 were excellent. What's the nice surprise is the quality/amount of chicken. The people are nice and friendly, the space is small but quaint. I recommend checking it out!

As a person who loves chicken fingers I was hoping to love this place. it was nothing special--every bar in the area makes a better chicken finger.

I ordered the crunchy fingers and fried green beans to go. The green beens were limp, soggy and mushy. I threw them out after a couple of bites. The fingers were mostly batter with little chicken, overcooked (burnt) and left a very greasy after taste.

Delicious food. The lean chicken with perfectly fried exterior. All of the sauces are delicious and compliment the fingers well. First time I ate here I ended up going back for dinner.

First time - I had the Bada Bing, which was off the charts. The atmosphere is great in there -- everyone was chatting with one another. Highly recommend.

Sticky's Finger Joint is genuinely fantastic. I have tried the Idaho Truffle Fries, regular chicken fingers with cray sauce, and the lemon-lime candied chicken fingers. Each time I have gone there has offered a pleasantly delicious meal. The chicken was placed atop an artisanal salad and very well seasoned both times. The truffle fries, albeit a little on the greasier side, were nonetheless delicious. The service is very helpful and clearly enthusiastic about their product. (Rightly so, I should say.) Although I have only gone to Sticky's Finger Joint twice at this point, I will continue to come here for their food. If you don't believe me, try it once and decide for yourself.

I went here about a month and a half ago. Had the Truffle Fries and the Fried Green Beans. All I really tasted was grease. Won't be back. Too many new restaurant start ups with way better food to waste on a second trip here. Saw that they were featured on the Food Network show 3 Days To Open with Bobby Flay. Hope it helps.
