Stecchino

This review is specifically for brunch. I bought a coupon that was for two brunch entrees and mimosas or bloody marys for two. I ordered the Italian French toast and my date ordered the blueberry ricotta pancakes with limoncello. They were both good, but nothing very special, and I coulda definitely made something of the same quality in my own kitchen--and I'm no chef. Also the pancakes weren't nearly as big a serving as I would have thought. They lacked markers of having any significant amount of ricotta OR limoncello, and only a couple of bites tasted like either, I am told (my two taste bites--since it wasn't my entree--definitely did NOT taste like either of those ingredients). We both agreed they were simply good blueberry pancakes. The french toast was yummy, and interesting with its thyme and rosemary flavor combo, but it wasn't special either. The strawberries on top of each were delicious. The mimosas were fine, but I've had much better. All in all, the coupon cost $29, and tax+tip was $18. Kind of an expensive brunch even with the coupon, since neither or us were looking to get hammered. Even if we were looking to get hammered, it woulda been difficult because our waitress was so busy that taking advantage of unlimited or many mimosas was kinda impossible without constantly walking up to the bar. I wouldn't go back based on this experience, because there's so many places to get higher quality food and drink, even though it was fine.

I had the crab cake benedict, I went and used the LivingSocial deal, the food was amazing. My friend had the steak and eggs, it was a small portion but be said he liked it (personally I thought the steak was bland). I got a deal for 2 people at $29, and you paid tips out o pocket which was about $18... Thats being said if we didn't have the deal it was like $43 bucks for each person, is it worth it I'm not sure, but the unlimited drinks fog my memory haha.

Went there 3 times and tried different burgers. Food manages to be bland, smallish portions, and indigest...This place will not last

Poor service. Waiter tried not to honor Savored coupon, allowed us to order double portion of fries with out telling us they were included with burger. Waitstaff blasted overhead TV, and were more interested in show than in doing their job.

We had a pre-theater dinner in this place and really enjoyed it. We warned the waiter that we were pressed on time and he really took care of our order quickly and efficiently, he was very attentively, changed the paper on table after our appetizers which were delicious - mussels on white sauce and shrimp fra diavolo; entrees were also great: salmon and tuna (I asked rare and it really came the way I like it). Dessert was an outstanding cheesecake with espresso. We used Savored and with discount of 30% the experience was even better.

My visit to Stecchino was very enjoyable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere lovely and the staff both pleasant and professional. They also have a great happy hour drink menu that features a number of tasty cocktails for $5. Can't beat it! I highly recommend this restaurant!

So the food is good first of all, however the flatbread is huge so come hungry. The atmosphere is horrible in the bar...there was a lady at the bar that was soooo loud and crazy so bring aspirin... Our server was ok...and the host didn't even ask if we wanted to sit in the bar or dinning room...
