This place is a perfect example of people not taking pride in the work that they do. First of all, they forgot the sausage that I clearly asked for so that we were left waiting for it. Also, I ordered eggs, poached, medium. How I ordered them did not seem to make a difference in how they were cooked. The yoke was cooked solid. If I had wanted hard boiled, I would have asked for them that way. The toast and english muffin were both soggy and disgusting. The management and employees of Stargate obviously do not care about customer service and eventually, it will hurt their pockets.

The food is ok, but you end up paying regular restaurant prices for, well, diner food. A bagel with cream cheese is over $6. I've had a variety of food here. The breakfast food satisfies the craving but is mediocre. The turkey dinner is rather large, but the stuffing is poor and veggies are soggy. The salads are ok, but not worth the $20+. Overall, ok diner food that is severely overpriced. Spend your money at a regular restaurant if you are going to spend that kind of money!

I have eaten here frequently - having eaten in, done take out from the counter and had home delivery. I have always found the service to be really good and the staff friendly and accomodating. The delivery is super quick! I think their diner food is a cut above the rest and the portions very generous. I've had tons of their breakfast offerings, sandwiches and appetizers. I don't think pastas are their strength, but if I want pasta, I'm going to an Italian restaurant, not a diner! As for the grilled cheese - it is fabulous in person! But grilled cheese for delivery from any place always gets soggy - every place wraps it in foil and it is limp when you get it. I have yet to find a great delivery grilled cheese, I'm afraid!

I enjoy eating at stargate almost every day, managment seems to be on top of things.

Long wait for delivery just to receive the most mediocre diner food ever! The grilled cheese sandwich was so soggy! My husband's toast was stale and the fries were not much better. I called the diner to tell them about the food and he would not accept that the food was not edible. He was defensive and argumentative. I told him I would never order from him again and he did not care. Poor customer service. Don't waste your time or money.

This used to be our go-to neighborhood diner but lately the prices seem to be getting a little ridiculous, especially for what it is. A burger and turkey sandwich were almost 30 bucks with tip, and for a diner that seems kinda steep. The food is still pretty good, but there are so many other diners within a 3 block radius that do just as well for much less that have won us over now.

I love this place. It's a diner so no "gourmet" present, but the food quality is great. We order whenever we want good food at a good price and reliablie fast delivery. Eating inside is lovely too! Quiet, Saturday morning breakfast with great service. You won't regret it.
