I only give 5 stars for food to something which is new, different and excellent, so that's why the 4.5 for Stargate. It's great dinner food--not creative, but who would want it to be? The quality of the food and the prep are both excellent. And, as for great services, this is the kind of place where they fuss over senior citizens and people with "special" orders, polite and respectful. Go early and often!

Had not eaten there in awhile.Found the lunch special to be very good.My wife and i bought enjoyed our meal.I am sure the soup i ordered,beef barley,was not home made.It was still good and hit the spot on a cold day.Bathrooms were clean.

Talk about an unpleasant dining experience. I ordered scrambled egg whites well done. The waiter trough me my eggs with american cheese on them. When I told him I had been given the wrong order, instead of apologizing he nastily snatched the plate away and gave me a snide look. Two minutes later he returned with uncooked runny egg whites, I again reminded him I had asked for them well done. Once again he did not apologize and grabbed the plate away with an angry face. Finally the order came back the way I had ordered. This time he basically threw the plate at me. We were his only table and the place was empty. There always empty basically except for once a week.

I've picked up take out and it's been very good. We ate there for the first time last night. The waitress was helpful in her recommendations and the food was, again, very good. It's a bit dark inside, but we'd definitely go back as the food was very good and reasonable.

Went there for brunch and ordered the Eggs Florentine. It had no flavor, no spice, no salt. It's like they put a block of frozen spinach in the microwave and plopped it on top of an english muffin. Just not tasty. The french toast my friend ordered wasn't much better - edible but not enjoyable. Wouldn't go back. On the plus side - roomy interior and it seemed family friendly.

I have no positive words for this place. When I dined there the staff was cold and uninviting and had miserable scowls on their faces the whole time. I then made the mistake of ordering delivery from them. After 45 minutes of waiting during an off-peak hour I called only to be hung up on twice. When I finally got through I was greeted rudely and told to wait then hung up on again. After an hour past i called and they said they had the order on the table and were about to leave, I promptly cancelled the delivery then and was given no apology and again rudely said goodbye to. This place is unpleasant and has no sense of customer service. The most disappointing staff I've ever encountered.

This place is a perfect example of people not taking pride in the work that they do. First of all, they forgot the sausage that I clearly asked for so that we were left waiting for it. Also, I ordered eggs, poached, medium. How I ordered them did not seem to make a difference in how they were cooked. The yoke was cooked solid. If I had wanted hard boiled, I would have asked for them that way. The toast and english muffin were both soggy and disgusting. The management and employees of Stargate obviously do not care about customer service and eventually, it will hurt their pockets.
