Great place in NYC
The restaurant was clean and the wait staff were friendly. We were seated right away and had a window seat, which was fun. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. I will definitely eat here again during my next visit to NYC!

Saved my trip!
On my visit to NYC, the Stage Door was an oasis in a desert of over-priced fast food. Very reasonable prices, generously-sized servings. I notice that some people have had bad luck with the service: I had the opposite. Staff was courteous & fast, very receptive to us and our needs. Street-level windows offer a pleasing view of a NY street (33rd?), Madison Square Garden, sunsets & subways. Nothing spectacular, but very VERY memorable view. Can't wait for my next trip to NYC: Stage Door, I miss you!

Waitstaff friendly but inattentive
Food, dine-in and delivery is excellent. The pancakes are to die for...i'm addicted. It's like crack. The home-fries are a little bland and boring so be sure to get extra toppings on it...like waffle house. I also enjoy the beef gyro platter. While the gyro slices look like they're straight out of a frozen box, they are extremely appetizing and delicious with the tzatziki and salad "accoutrements". Enjoy but be wary of poor service: order quickly and get everything you need from the outset. Depending on the time of day, your mileage may vary. If you care enough to complain, talk to the brothers who operate the joint.

I always tip
Nice spot, convenient location next to the LIRR, the food is good. I have been going there for about 4 years and the only problem I notice is that on certain days they can get very packed were there’s like 30 people waiting for seats and this was a Thursday.

Tasty salads and sandwiches
Delicious food that was served quickly. Somehow I wish the waiter was a bit more attentive.

An absolute must
We are usually in here 4 times a week. my buddies and i work right around the corner ,we've been coming here since it first opened up in this location. the food is very good all around , alot to choose from,haven't had desserts like these before everyone should check it out at least once , you'll be hooked

Customer Service at its best
On a recent pleasure trip to the Big Apple I visited the Stage Door deli and enjoyed a great meal! I used my bank card to pay for the meal and unfortunately LEFT IT at the Deli!! It wasnt until I returned home the next day that I realized I didn't have it. When I called the deli they confirmed it was there and could not have been more accomodating, especially Adonis and the GM, George. I was assured by both that the card would be held in safe keeping until my return. To the deli I thank you for you HONESTY and customer service. Aside from all that drama, the corned beef sandwich I had was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks again.
