Wanting an authentic New York reuben and forgoing the Carnegie Deli because theirs are a few dollars more, I tried the Stage deli. What a, like, totally major disappointment. The corned beef was chewy and tasteless, there was not enough sourkraut, and, perhaps the biggest offender of all, instead of giving me actual russian dresser in the takeout container, they threw in some thin, runny, pre-packaged Kraft Thousand Island dressing. That, my friends, was shocking and uncalled for. $19.95 later (without tax, peeps) it was a sad night for me.

Way overpriced and food has absolutely no flavor. I ordered a turkey reuben and got literally bread, bland turkey, and bland cheese with only a little sauerkraut. And it cost like $25. My boyfriend got a Marv Albert and it was just unflavorful meat and bread as well. For four people it ended up being almost $100. Our waitress was hardly ever present, and when she was, she was very rude. It took her 15 minutes to bring our friend a refill on water, after walking by us several times with full glasses of water for other tables.

Food is not worth the price. Service is poor. Better off staying home!

This deli serves overpriced bland food. Even though it is a tourist trap, the owners should know better! We had to even beg to get our waters refilled.

this place is just touristy - way over priced and too crowded. don't bother

we were stunned at the prices in this place: i mean, $15 for a SANDWICH? with nothing more than a pickle on the side? And $5..95 for fries? Get REAL!! We felt totally gipped. (The cheesecake LOOKs good, but taste is disappointing ... and t $11.95 / slice, it had better be the best. It's just NOT. A real tourist clip joint.

Don't believe the hype. This place does not serve great food. Sure, the sandwiches are large, but Stage Deli sandwiches are overpriced. And the food is mediocre at best.The service is also poor to average.
