Nice service and food. Pan striped Sea Bass was excellent. Price is reasonable and space is little tight.

This was our first restaurant in New York. We were seated back by the handicap toilet. The nice wood paneling and door conceals what is there. There is quite a bit of traffic to the bathroom. Since this was our first visit to New York, I did not know about the tap water. We got the "still" water from Scotland. It was in a fresh scotch whiskey bottled in Scotland. It was at room temperature as compared to the tap water that had ice. Overall, it was enjoyable. The wife thought it was pricey for a restarant in the back of a bar. The food was wonderful!

For lunch, St. Andrews is a great choice. The salads are fresh and crisp, the sandwiches well-prepared and filling, and the service warm and efficient. The crab cakes and turkey burger sandwiches are standouts for a quick, inexpensive lunch. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I went here last week before the theater and it was a wonderful experience. I booked us a little too late and they rushed our order to make sure we were not late for the curtain. I suggest a 6PM reservation...they are busy. We both got the rib eye steak which was absolutely great, and the size of the portion was huge. The server was fun and professional, and the atmosphere of the place was FUN! Whether for a few drinks or a dinner you cannot miss this place the next time you are in the city.

We visit Manhattan (wife, husband and 2 daughters) once a year now as we have a little summer place in the Poconos. Always go to a Broadway show and by sheer accident stumbled across St. Andrews about 3 years ago. We return there every year now - fabulous food including haggis and yummy Scottish desserts, not to mention the wonderful seafood - we hail from England and America jointly and after a day of walking around the City, we like a pint of cider to refresh us when we get to St. Andrews. Wonderful waiting staff with smiles and genuine helpfulness and really superb service. Have recommended it to loads of people - a little tartan gem sitting in the middle of Manhattan.

Calamari and Hazelnut covered Scallops were fantastic! Great service and nice wait staff. Even accomodated our children with great burgers and a smile. A wonderful place to slip in for a great meal and cold beer! I can't wait to return!

I have eatin and drank quite a few pints here since finding out about this place. I am of Scottish heritage, there are so many Irish pubs in Manhattan but no REAL SCOTTISH pubs that I have found besides this. The selection of Scottish beer and Scotch is truly awesome and the food is outstanding as well. Whenever I step inside I feel like Im stepping inside a pub in Glasgow!
