This Place Has The Potential To Be The Best ...
When it first opened, Sri Thai was a revelation. Out of all the Thai places in Williamsburg this was the best - and the best bar one in Manhattan (Tara Thai is/was excellent). However erratic hours, incredibly rude owner/order guy, inconsistent quality of food, did I mention rudeness? All these things drag the place down. Their failure to use paper bags to wrap the take out before putting it in the plastic bag for delivery (not to mention the somewhat haphazard lidding of things) makes getting your take out home something of an unwanted adventure. It doesn't help the rude guy barks orders at you on how to carry it so it doesn't spill. Seriously. Also, when you ask for your food (we're talking in a Thai place) to be spicy and it's just not, is an issue, too. When the food is on spot, it's very close to real Thai food, when it isn't, it's such a disappointment. Guys, get a delivery guy, be polite, get paper bags, lid the food correctly, get some consistency in the quality, get some consistent hours of operation, and you'll have a huge, long term hit on your hands. As it is, there are more and more Thai places opening up all around you, and soon you may find yourself with real quality competition. Personally, I care about real, authentic Thai, and you're as close as it comes in this neighbourhood, but you really need to get it together because sometimes I'd rather get something else from somewhere else rather than deal with your issues. Unfortunately this is happening more and more often. Yes, the food is good. Sometimes it's excellent. Sometimes you can even get delivery.

Lke Pennys Chicago
anyone who's from Chicago and ate at Pennys Thai, knows this is as close as it comes to likeness. I still love more Pennys , but these guys come a close 2nd and they make a great Squid Pad Phai

Cheap, delicious and no-nonsense
Very welcome addition to the neighborhood. Very tasty and cheap thai without any of the problems you can easily encounter ordering out. Have ordered a few times since they opened with no drop in quality or service. Their time estimates are very accurate. Their lunch menu is a very good value, but their dinner prices aren't going to break the bank either. The actual restaurant is teeny but I always see people eating there.

Subpar
I got the chicken pad thai and it lacked spice, seasoning; every component part tasted like oily paper. Picked up food since they said there was no delivery and found the employees dismissive. Will not order from here again.

Best Thai in E Wburg
The pad thai, pad prik khing, and curries are all outstanding here. I get delivery once a month and it never fails to disappoint

Got delivery from here a couple times. Decent and hot. Semi-greasy though.. Dude on the phone totally ignorant which is very frustrating when you're hungry.
