slim pizza
Excellent thin crust pizza - simple, fresh, straight-forward. I particularly like the custom model: pesto on the bottom, topped with slices of andouille sausage. I try to eat here every time I go to Film Forum. With a salad and a glass of red wine, it comes out to about twenty bucks. Good food, easy on the eye and the pocket, and relaxing.

If people think this pizza is good they must not have tried the plethora of better choices in NY. I'd rather go to a good slice place. The crust is like a pre-made cracker, the sauce isn't great, the fresh mozzarella is a rip-off and they don't let it melt. A greasy, mediocre pizza at best. In NY especially there are far better places, not sure how this lasts as a pizza place. Perhaps the salads are decent.

I should have asked someone first
They have a very limited menu, a couple pasta plates and Pizza, some very good salads. I took out. The small proseco was $12, add in Lasagna, one coke, extra garlic bread and salad, about $45 for one person? The service was top notch and the young ladies behind the bar were very sexy, friendly and talkative. The basic opinion here is this: The serving of lasagna was too small, the salad was perfect(Apple and smoked cheddar), the proseco not the best and 3 times too expensive- I just bought them their bottle with one drink. The coke almost flat-I left half of it. they are way too expensive. The extra garlic bread was about $8 and way too expensive for two thick slices of italian bread.

I am very shocked by the positive reviews. Went for dinner tonight and had, literally, the smallest & most expensive pizza I've ever ordered! The crust was so thin that it totally fell apart when I tried to pick it up and there was no seasoning at all. It was like wheat thin-thin -and it was $14! Had I known, I would have walked two more blocks to Keste, and got a pizza twice as big and 10 times as delicious. Keste might be the best pizza in NY, Spunto, unfortunately, is not.

Best pizza I've had in the city
Might be the best pizza I have had in New York! Delicious very thin crust, so the flavors of the sauce and fresh ingredients pop. Will definitely visit again. It has a very casual, but nice atmosphere - busy, but not over crowded.

Great thin crust pizza
the pizza in Spunto is prepared really well, fresh ingredients and and the salads are wonderful. Definitely the place to go if you are looking for a pizza restaurant in the west village. The staff is really nice and the restaurant is very clean. Definitely highly recommended!

The Best!
I LOVE Spunto! I work around here so I've been many times. Their pizza crust is so thin that you feel good and satisfied after eating it, but not gross and too full. I've had the marinara and pesto sauces - I like marinara best, but the pesto is a nice chance. The tricolor salad is also delish. I don't typically even eat creamy dressing, but it's just too good to pass up. They also have great lunch specials.
