not so good tonight
The red lentil soup was a blender like concoction with no taste, and the pad thai was completely different tonight, very sweet and greasy. Not sure what was up tonight but there went 100 dollars!

The good outweighs the disappointing
Pros: -Amazing air-conditioning -Satisfying, plentiful portions (love this!) -Water glass always full Food absolutely delicious Cons: -Waiter should write down order since he got it wrong, and if he gets it wrong he should subtract on the bill to make up for it -The bench by the front window provides NO back support, it's uncomfortable! -Only white bread available, no whole wheat. This is supposed to be a healthy restaurant- so there should always be whole wheat bread as a FREE option, not just white! Conclusion: I love this place and think it is much better than the other veggie options in the area.

Bring the Banh Mi Back!
What happened to their banh mis? Was just going to go there for lunch, but saw it was replaced with a faux chicken sandwich? Bring the real deal back please! It was so good!

Good Food, Poor Service
Spring Natural's food is tasty and healthier than average. However, their service can be quite bad. Their delivery is unreliable, the staff doesn't like to accept responsibility for their mistakes, and the restaurant closes up to 3 hours earlier than what they publish on their menu.

Great Value Great Service
I like Spring Natural Kitchen! We need more like this one. I tried the Bolognese, a tremendous portion. Next time the Shrimp and/or the Hummus. The salads looked great when I saw them served. I was taking out on a Sunday night. Very comfortable nice atmosphere for all ages. Will be back for sure, everything was delicious.

A great alternative...finally!
Tried Spring Natural Kitchen for brunch this weekend...it was fantastic. The menu is eclectic, varied, and full of healthy and delicious options. Best of all, it's not that crazy "it's organic and grass fed so i guess i deserve to be charged a gazillion dollars for a hamburger" type of place. The prices are really reasonable, the portions ample, and there's not an ounce of pretentiousness on the premises. The atmosphere is bustling but not annoying. The rooms are spacious and you feel a nice sense of privacy from other diners. My friend and I both had Pesto Omelettes. They were a little overcooked (happens, especially in New Restaurant Land, where in the early days the kinks are all being worked out) but when we sent them back, the entire staff was super nice about accommodating the request, and once they'd made us new ones, cooked to perfection, they then kept checking back with us to make sure we were happy. We were. So happy to have a found a great new healthy place in the neighborhood...I will be back!

I really wanted to love this place
I was so excited to see this open in my hood! I ordered delivery and they told me it would be 20-30 minutes. Well, an hour and a half later.....arrived my seafood risotto, Moroccan stew and stir fried veggies. The stew and veggies were okay, but the risotto was really, really good. Back to the annoyance of the hour and a half wait though. I called about an hour in of waiting and they assured me that the food would be arriving soon (I live 3 blocks away, but I am very pregnant, so I ordered delivery). The man on the line seemed very, very busy. Then, when the food arrived, the delivery man asked for cash when we had already given my credit card info over the phone. So, we had to call the restaurant again. We were so hungry and annoyed at this point. There was some misunderstanding between the restaurant and the delivery person and the man on the phone assured me that my credit card was charged and that I did not need to pay cash. After all this, I was expecting some kind of apology or a free dessert for the future or something. Nope. Nothing. It amazes me that NYC restaurants don't know how important customer service is. If they would have compensated me somehow for our inconvenience, I would have tried the place again, but no such luck. I am really bummed : (
