    Best Calamari of my Life!

I went with my wife in late august. I'll admit I felt a little under dressed for the atmosphere. I had the calamari which was melt in your mouth tender and the fried peppers were delicate and delicious. I also had the chicken fettuccinni which was just your typical chicken, pasta, and cream sauce. My wife had the salmon with bowtie pasta which was also delicious because it wasn't fishy at all. I would definately go back for the calamari.

    Not recommended

Unfortunately, our boss picked this place for our holiday dinner. It was mid week and the restaurant was empty. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Our waiter was rude and made cruel comments to some of the people at our table. 5 of us ordered the Zuppa di Pesce. One of the dinners came out without the lobster. When questioned, the waiter said that they ran out of lobster but gave her more shrimp. The waiter never told us and should have offered the person something else to order before bringing the dish out. There was no additional shrimp but it didnt matter because the shrimp was inedible. It tasted mealy and old. Some of us had the filet mignon with shrimp franchese. The meat was poor quality and the shrimp was also old and inedible. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never go again.

    poor service

Went with 2 other people. They both enjoyed really their dishes, fettucini and ravioli. I got the lobster risotto which was slightly below average. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone due to the poor service. There is other great italian food along Mulberry with fine service. Our waiter was this guy who argued with the table behind us after they complained about one of their dishes - the waiter was surprisingly rude to them. Then the bill came, and despite our party being limited to 3 people, they had already added a 20% gratuity. I normally tip 20% on my own, but I was pretty offended and it was a bit presumptuous on their end in light of the poor service. The waiter seemed to rush everyone through ordering their meals and never came back to check on the table after dinner was served. All around very poor service.
