Delicious sweets
This small cozy downstairs dessert bar located on St. Marks Pl is the place to bring a date or friends for some delicious desserts. My friend and I shared a Green Tea-irimasu! I'm not a huge fan of green tea, but let me tell you... one word, amazing! Friendly and fast service, affordable, not bland nor too sweet. Definitely check this place out.

Your flavorful dessert
Spot is a very small 'spot'. i don't think you could fit more than 30 people in there, employees included. I was quite surprised as to how flavorful the deserts were. We started with the Mont Blanc Alaska which had a strong chocolate caramel ice cream taste (my favorite) Next was the Yuzu Eskimo; white chocolate over a passion fruit froth...again very strong flavor, Very Good ! Then we tried the Un-Red Velvet. Umm...i would Un-do this dessert. The cream cheese ice cream had no flavor and the beets in the cake made it taste like dirt, i would pass. If you're a coconut fan, A MUST HAVE is the Coconut Nutella Almond Macaroon YUMMMM....All in all, if you're looking for a spot with new and tasty deserts, SPOT in the SPOT.

SuperYum
I was craving a cupcake today and had read about SPOT. I stopped in headed for something with salted caramel. The cupcakes are gorgeous. I couldn't decide between the green tea and the salted caramel so I got them both. These are not sweet cupcakes, which is good. The green tea frosting is smooth with a perfect green tea flavor. The chocolate cupcake is moist and inside an apricot jam. Holy crow this was yummy. I haven't eaten the salted caramel yet but if it's anything like the green tea cupcake we are in business!

Desserts Tapas
Shared three of Spot's dessert tapas with two friends yesterday: Soft Cheesecake, Avocado Parfait, and Chocolate Marquis. My favorite is the chocolate marquis. Every portion of it was just delightful. The chocolate cake/brownie part was rich in taste and reminded me of eating a chocolate truffle. The tapioca was cooked to perfection, not mushy or firm, and infused with a mango tropical taste. And, what can I say about the yakult ice cream...except can I have a bigger scoop? Loved it! Overall, the components in the chocolate marquis is a perfect balance for a perfect dessert and not over bearingly sweet. The Spot has a colorful menu and serves up light, delicate desserts that satisfy the sweet tooth. I only wish the portions are a little bigger. The decor and interior is simple low maintence natural wood. Cute, quaint, cozy little place that is ideal for a date or small groups. Also, friendly staff and service.

One of a kind desserts
Items are a mix of exotic flavours, desserts are creative. Love the green milk bubble tea-- not overly sweet and it comes in a huge glass.

Yummy.
I stopped by here this afternoon to pick up some desserts to go. I got the coconut macaroon with nutella and almonds, the chocolate mint cookie, the mocha maldon salt caramel cupcake and the vanilla caramel vietnamese coffee cupcake. The cupcakes were delicious - super moist with frosting that wasn't sugary sweet to the point that your teeth hurt. The macaroon was yummy too, although I wish the macaroon part of it had been a little more tender and chewy, instead of being more like a biscuit. However the flavor was nice. The chocolate mint cookie might have been my favorite though. The taste was very minty and fresh, and the texture of the cookie (crisp on the outside, but very soft/chewy in the middle) was awesome.
