Is place is nothing to write home about, However, it is a great atmosphere, good food, good space to hang out with friends in, good selection of beer, all around good.

Ate the veggie burger here, and it was very good, not from the box or anything, must have been freshly made. The curry fries were very good.

FIRST - Let me preface my review by stating that I live in Northern Mnht. And while I was already in the west village I was willing to travel across town, 9:30 in the evening, to the 1st-stop on the L-Train in Bklyn for SPIKE HILL…. their burgers are THAT GOOD: flavorful and moist (with the right about of fat-juice - NOT WATER, from steaming (ugh)), great size, great bun (soft and fresh, but it is not too much bread), with lettuce and tomato as standard compliments. Both house burgers: the SpikeBurger and the MEGABURGER (for us big boys) are served with hand-cut chips and hand-cut fries. I was VERY hungry - so I had one of each. Now - here is the clincher: this place has the best, THE BEST selection of beers on tab (or bottle) to wash down your burger. Their vast selection exceeds many of my favorite Mnht pubs. But if you prefer a little more BITE with your burger - enjoy it with their superb selection of whiskeys and single-malts. You name it - they have it! (And yes, I am part-Irish... so I know WTF about scotch!) I finished my burger just in time to see Rutgers clinch a big win on the HDTV! SPIKE HILL is on-point!!... YAH-HEARD!?!
