Not worth it at all. My bibb salad was completely wilted and way over dressed- maybe to mask the wiltedness?, the pasta dish was such a ridiculously small portion (5 tiny pieces of gnocchi) that the waitress asked if I wanted to order another one, and I was given a water glass w/ a chip in it that cut my lip. My husband's pasta brought al dente to whole new level that can only be described as chewy, stuck to your teeth pasta. All that plus it took forever for anything to come out. I was just grateful the busboy offered to bring us more olives to fill up on.

I had heard good things about Spigolo. Some friends were in town visiting, and we stopped by for lunch. Food is excellent. The portions are smaller, but the flavor is big. Because the food is complex and flavorful, you leave satiated. Some of the combination are fairly odd, but it seems work. Would definitely dine here, again.

Delicious! I have eaten here a number of times (and have tried even more times to get a table but they are always booked). Great neighborhood gem. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Would dine here again and again!

Heard alot about this place. Food too "gourmet" at times; crowded; rushed; other NYC places way better. Will probably not return.

I don't know what happened to us last night. This place was highly recommended by good friends. Forget about everything else--the dishes were just too salty. My colleagues and I were starving, so we forced ourselves to eat the food we had ordered. From the appetizers to the secondi, it all ranged from oversalted to inedible salty. The squid ink pasta was the worst offender. Really angry at myself for not saying anything. Also, the cucumber strawberry cocktail was really nothing special. What a waste of money and time!

I've been to Spigolo at least 5 times and it just gets better and better. It's hands-down the best restaurant on the UES - maybe the best in the city. It's not cheap, but it's worth the price. The service is excellent and very helpful. Seasonal menu is always on point. The fish is always cooked perfectly - and the pasta is incredible. If the strawberry cheesecake sundae is on the menu - order it!

My husband and I just moved to the Upper East Side and happend to walk by Spigolo one night a few weeks ago. There were no tables available so we sat at the bar. The food , drink and service were wonderfull! Paula the bartender was very friendly and recommended her drink specials.They were out of this world! We had ceasar and celery salads, two pastas and shared the steak. Amazing! The apple fritters were heavenly! We have been back several times. Hard to get a reservation but we enjoy ourselves at the bar. Very special place in the neighborhood!
