Some of the best Italian food I've ever had. If I could of licked the plate, I would have. (One downside, the wine list was fairly small for a more limited budget.)

Food was excellent-portions for entrees were sizable. Wine list limited and expensive-no happy medium prices. Service-very unpleasant!! The waiter was extremely snobby, smug, and unhelpful. Wish the service were better and it would have been a nice experience!

The food was excellent. I had the ravioli with swiss chard and veal in a pistachio sauce which was unbelievable. The salads were fresh and crispy. One of our party said that she had the best fish she had ever eaten. The space is small and the airconditioning was not great. It got really hot in there. Service was very friendly. I highly recommend this place-especially in better weather

Although its location is not particularly easy to find, the food and service are definitely of above average standard. By ordering 3 courses (antipasta, main course + desert) one may find that the total bill is on the high side. The quantities are such that one could easily skip the antipasta.

The food was no doubt good, but for the money involved perhaps a little overpriced. There are a few Italian places on the UWS that are just as good if not better with a slightly lower sticker price. Creative dishes abound, though, that you won't find on most other menus. Potato and Chestnut Gnocchi for instance - won't be found elsewhere. Good selection of wine, but note that the list on the website is outdated. Best to make a reservation as the space is tight and intimate.

My husband and I have been here twice, and each time we were very happy with the food. The lasagna is amazing, and the salads crisp and fresh. I highly recommend visiting. I am surprised to read the review that says the service is bad. Both times we have been there, the service has been attentive and pleasant.

I had a pasta with monk fish, black olives, ginger, capers and rosemary. It was extraordinary. I paired the dish with a red from Piedmont (at the server's suggestion) and it mkade an excellent dinner a perfect one. My fiance, who is a very picky eater, was equally enthralled. I can't wait to go back.
