Spice

We've eaten here a number of times and have usually been very happy with everything. The food is consistently very good (the calamari and the asian ginger shrimp are excellent) and tends to be generously portioned; drinks are well-chosen and well-priced. Previous reviews have criticised service - I've never had delivery so I can't comment on that, but service in the restaurant is on the whole, quite efficient in my experience. Staff are not particularly talkative but have always been reasonably friendly and are usually quite efficient - water is refilled constantly and everything tends to be delivered to the table quickly. It's quite noisy inside and I wouldn't describe it as a place to linger too long after you finish, but for a well-priced refuel, it's difficult to think of anywhere better.

If you are hungry during your lunch break, do not order delivery. It toook them almost 2 hours to get to me! Food is good and the price is fair, but there is iffy customer service and slow slow delivery.

I think the food at Spice is great, and the price is definately resonable. One thing i have not been pleased with at all is the service i have received every single time i order for delivery from Spice. The girls who work the phone are rude, speak barely any english, and have no qualms with putting you on hold while you are in the middle of giving your phone number or ever your oder. If they're not interrupting you and putting you on hold, they start out by putting you on hold. I've sat waiting on the phone for over 5 minutes at a time. I've been to the restaurant, i know it's busy, but never have i been treated so rudely on the phone.

I order food from here all the time for lunch meetings, and decided to try the restaurant. Although the portions are much smaller than take out, the food was excellent. I recommend the emerald dumplings. Seating was tight, but the service is very good.

Spice has amazing food, which is the one and only thing that brings me back. Delivery service is atrocious. Food often comes late or not at all. I once argued with the delivery person on the phone who insisted he was outside my building, yet was not. The food never arrived (though the manager apologized and promised to resend the food, which still never came). The customer service over the phone is consistently awful, the staff being rude and impatient. They're lucky the massaman curry is so delicious, or else I would have stopped supporting their business ages ago. I strongly recommend dining in rather than getting food delivered if you have the option.

They are so quick with lunch deliveries it's great. Its one of the best values for lunch going. Love the shrimp fritters as a starter. A little noisey when you eat in, but that is the only bad thing you could say. Love em.

My husband and I go here (or rather order from here) all the time. Everything I have had at Spice is great. My husband (a very picky eater) loves the black noodles. I love the green curry. Eating at the restaurant is fun too, good atmosphere and the lunch deal is unbelievable -- less than $7 for app. and entree.
