    Had a good time

We ordered a bunch of appetizers, i love the calamari and martini shrimp, except the summer roll, taste very bland. The pad thai was good but certainly not the best. I love their salmon dish. Their thai ice tea was good, it was a little bit too diluted. Overall, we had a good time. A spot I would frequent more.

    Love It!

I have been eating here for such a long time and think it's one of my favorite places to dine out. I have never had a bad experience (minus the uncomfortable chairs), and the Green Chicken Curry is AMAZING! I also love the Hawaiian Ginger Pineapple dish. They also have really good drinks - alcoholic and non alcoholic. I think everyone should try their Lychee Thai Iced Tea. I get it everytime I go to Spice. All in all, it's just too good to pass up.

    Awesome

I am new to New York and I love Thai food. Spice was recommended by a friend and the food was fabulous. I can't wait to go back!

    great food, reeeally bad service

Obviously I really love the food here since I continue to order in despite the consistently disappointing service.. Seriously... they have made bad service a very creative art form.. The last time they forgot part of my order I asked that they redeliver it (I live 3 blocks away) an hour later my order never came so I called and asked that they refund my c.c. They never did! So my review is: excellent, moderately price thai food, cute 60's Modern Furnishing, worst service ever!!!

    Worth It.

I've eaten in and ordered from Spice several times, the lunch special is fantastic and their Pad Thai is hands down my favorite dish. The delivery service is pretty bad, mostly because it's terribly slow, but it's worth the hassle.

    Poor experience

I live across the street and used to eat in or order from here at least once a week. The service was always terrible, but the food was good and the prices were pretty good so I put up with it. However, a few weeks ago, I placed and order for take out and I received the wrong appetizer. When I called the restaurant, the hostess told me to keep it (which was not an option due to a food allergy) and then later said they would deliver the correct appetizer and hung up. She did not know who I was or where I lived (since I picked it up). When I called back, I had to explain the situation again, and the hostess hung up on me as I began to say my address. I finally showed up at the restaurant, and the hostess (whom I had to explain the situation to a third time) showed me a random receipt (a completely different order for delivery) and insisted my order was correct. She then dug through a pile of receipts and found mine, based on my order (which I had to repeat to her multiple times). Finally, I was given the correct appetizer. This entire ordeal took over an hour and a half and at no point did I receive any sort of apology or acknowledgement of a mistake. I haven’t been back since, and to be perfectly honest there are plenty of nearby Thai places that are just as good.
