Good times bad times
We've been to this place and had awesome food delivered several times - in fact for a short time we thought this place was our favorite. The food is very good, if you can get what you order. The last few times we have got delivery, we have not gotten what we ordered, and they are not at all accomodating at fixing their mistakes. Even though the food is okay, the price and poor service are not worth the effort, after all this is new york city. Spice will have to step up their performance if they expect to continue to do good, if any, business in this town.

I don't get it!
I don't get why people love this place. The food is very average, the service is perhaps average and the seating is poor. I don't enjoy being that close to strangers, especially when I'm eating.

On the downhill
I used to go to spice all the time and have recently gone back to find that the service was very poor. The waiter never came to take our order, only after repeatedly flagging down the busboy did our waiter manage to fit us in. The food has become dry and tasteless. In the budding popularity they forgot to concentrate on the most important aspect of a restaurant, the food. Overall the entire quality of spice has gone downhill.

Just bland
I love thai food. And I am usually pretty easy going with what I get. But the food here is consistently boring and tasteless. It is pricey and really not worth it. The location has made me want to try it again because it is so convenient for me, but the food disappoints me time and again.

Awesome Food
I go to Spice all the time, it's a great place! The tamarind duck is to die for. The only thing I would complain about is that they are a little cramped, especially when it's really busy, you either have to wait a really long time, or they sit you dangerously close to other people. But overall its the bestest thai food in new york.

Lychee Mimosa is a must!
The best Lychee Mimosa! So I'm a Vietnamese and Thai food addict and when I find a place I like I let it be known. My friends took me to this SEA sister restaurant for a pre-birthday dinner and it was great! The place is extremely busy so if you've got a large group request seating on their lower level, I had 9 people in my party and we got seated right away. If you've got a sweet tooth you have to try their Lychee Mimosa. Want a delish appetizer and main course? Have the Curry Puffs and Chicken Massaman. To top it all off have the waiters sing your group Happy Birthday when it's really no one's bday yet and blow out the candles in your Ice Cream Tempura and Banana & Chocolate Mousse Cake - Wow what a happy dinner, thanks guys!

Great Food!
Great Thai food. I go there often and take my friends, but I've noticed that the portions are getting smaller! Especially the appetizers.......and although the food was great, our main courses arrived before the appetizers, and when the guy with the appetizers turned up, he flung the plates on our table. We were shocked with his flinging, but the main waiter was polite and the rest of the meal was great anyways! Overall, except for the random rude service, it's a great place.
