Best place on Curry Row
By far one of the Best Indian restaurants in the city and on Curry Row. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The menus were beautiful an the whole restaurant had beautiful aspects of India. We started with the Lamb Kebab appetizer. It was an eruption of flavor in my mouth. I had never tasted something so delicious. For the entree, I ordered Chicken Korma. It was flavorful and the quantity was huge. Never in Indian restaurants in NYC do you get large servings, not even at the expensive places. There was also another great part of the menu, prix fix. For a cheap price, you can get a taste of 3 of the entrees, which gives you more than enough food. Will visit again very soon.

Not recommended
Some of the most unappetizing indian food I've ever eaten. Tastes like it's out of a can. More unappetizing than airplane food. Avoid at all costs.

yum
I am totally addicted to this place. I love all of the curries and tandooris at this place. Don't forget the mango lassi and pistachio ice cream for dessert. Can't wait to order from here again.

food is bland
all the dishes seem to come from the same curry base, there is nothing authentic about this cuisine...

What a surprise!
Although I find that they are a little fancy, but for the price and atmosphere, this is insane! Wine, foods and tips all for less than 100 bucks..and we're party of 3 people. We totally love or waitress services, not too pushy and recomended dishes for our taste and preference.Last but not least,I could not resist their mango lassis as my dessert and my friends totally love their 'to die' for pistachio ice cream.Would come back Spice Cove!!

A 5.0 on All Counts!
As a Spice Cove fanatic, I have to say I give them 5 thumbs up in every area. The food is always fresh and tasty, their chutney's spicy and colorful and naan is always served warm and delectable. Among my favorite dishes are the Chicken Dilder (a rich chicken dish with chickpeas, mushrooms, and spinach - which they gave to me with white meat upon request) as well as the Mushroom Saag and Kashmiri Eggplant - both delectable vegetable dishes in large portions. The atmosphere is fantastic! Warm and cozy with intricate details in the decoration such as small buddha's embedded in the wall, small beaded details hanging from the "coved" ceiling and brightly colored candles on each table. As a photographer and a visual person, I must say that I find myself visually excited and engaged every time I enter the small space. Also, I find the service to also be quite fantastic. The servers often remember and greet me, give me second and third helpings of the chutneys that I cannot get enough of, seconds on rice, are always more than willing to customize my dish for me (spicyness, white meat chicken, 1/2 orders etc.), and usually always serve the food with a smile. When I showed up one evening sans my boyfriend, who is also a Cove fanatic and typically always goes with me, they inquired about and asked where he was. In this way, the servers only added to the comfortable atmosphere by personally acknowledging me. I have never once left this restaurant unhappy - except for being unhappy that the experience has come to an end and I must wait till the next time for more Spice Cove goodness!!
