Ordered delivery on weeknight expecting it to take no more than 30 minutes. Food arrived after 90 minutes and it was cold and subpar. Don't order the thai crepe rolls , they look like squished dumplings and taste like crap. The drunk man noodles were greasy and looked like they had been sitting out for hours. When I tried complaining to the delivery man, he did not speak enough English to understand my complaints, conveniently.

After a long wait for delivery (OK it is New Year's Day), food arrived cold and tasteless. I have ordered in from other Spice restaurants around Manhattan and Brooklyn so was expecting my neighborhood franchise to be consistent with the others--not so--not by a long shot!

Our appetizers came out in a half hour (we believe they gave our dish to the fella by the window - side note - the restaurant was maybe a 1/4 full). Ahhh, finally the appetizers. Very good. Interrupted by the main course delivered 5 minutes later. What a joke. Will never go back even being within 2 blocks. Good food, but learn how to treat your customer.

Ordered lunch for delivery...waited 30 minutes only to receive the wrong meal. Called back and they said they'd send the replacement. It's been 40 minutes and I'm still waiting. When I called, I was told that the delivery left a while ago...but he had a lot of bags. Not looking forward to receiving a cold replacement order more than an hour after I placed the original order. Certainly not the first time I've had issues with them with delivery. And the food is hit and miss

While I don't usually enjoy chains, even small ones, Spice is consitantly good. The service is always great and when eating out it's a clean, welcoming, and aesthetically pleasing place to go for either a date or night out with friends. *Papaya salad is one of the spiciest I've had.

I rarely eat out these days, but it was a tiring week, so I decided to treat myself. I remembered this Spice as being just so-so, but thought I'd take another chance as the location is in my neighborhood. What a mistake! The pad thai was greasy, overladen with sauce--a brown, gooey mess. The soup had fresh veggies and was good. I ate half of each and asked for the rest to go. The staff (not my waiter) put the soup in a regular to go box, so by the time I'd walked a block, it had sloshed out all over the bag, making it sopping wet. I returned and asked my waiter to transfer it into a container that would seal. He did, then handed it back to me, the bag still sopping wet, which I had to then ask him to exchange. Do not eat there! I never write reviews and decided to do so to keep you from having to spend your money on such poor food and service.

This restaurant chain falls flat on its face. I wonder whether the owners taste their own food. The main courses are so laden with salt, you'll wonder why the restaurant doesn't name itself SALT. As for service, its also lacking. And the restaurant has some very cold areas in the winter that will ruin any diner's experience. Their Tom Yum soup is good, and it stops right there.
