I've only eaten here once, but the food was really poor. I ordered Vegetable Dumplings, which came with a black sauce and black seeds, and the Spice Duck. The duck was inexcusably overcooked, had no taste at all, had literally been cooked to death. It was one of the poorest meals I've ever had, I didn't eat it, only tasted the food, and will never go back. Can't recommend this place at all.

I ordered from Spice because Land Thai is closed for renovation and it left me even more anxious for LT's return. Spice's lunch special is decently priced (~8 for an ap and entree), but the food is sub par. The red curry was quite greasy and the beef was chewy while the pad thai (a boring order I know) was quite bland and lacking any vegetables. Bottom line, this food is better than bad Chinese, but there are plenty of better Thai places out there.

ordered from here many times and had a pretty decent meal each time. ordered from here the other night and food took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get here and only live 3 blocks away! Usually the wait time is about 20 to 25 minutes. would still order there again but was very dissatisfied with their service on that particular occasion.

Food was good, was delivered on time, everything was fresh and tasty and fairly reasonably priced. Menu has decent choices. I'll order from here again.

Totally agree with Anonymous above as the food totally lacks spice. I've been to other Spice restaurants in Chelsea, on the UES and near NYU and this one is missing the mark in terms of complexity and depth of flavor. I ordered the green curry- very soupy and no heat. When I opened the take out container of Drunk Man Noodle I knew right away it was going to be disappointing. It looked like it was missing the ingredients that coat the noodles brown. I've had this dish at the other locations, so I know this was missing the mark. That all being said, Spice is a nice addition to the neighborhood especially since the number of Thai to Japanese restaurants is completely disproportionate on the UWS. I will continue to sample other dishes at Spice and hope for continued improvements.

It's so great to see a new Asian restaurant that isn't sushi. We have needed more variety, and Spice brings it in a pleasant atmosphere at very reasonable prices. We went for lunch, where they throw in a free appetizer, so my husband got vegetable dumplings with his shrimp pad thai, and I had shrimp fritters with my ginger pineapple beef. The sauces were on the mild side (which I prefer) but had a nice complexity of seasoning. Portion sizes were just right; they felt generous but I didn't have to bring home leftovers. The decor is airy and pleasant, even if the layout of the floor space seems a bit odd. The staff were friendly and communicative.
