    Great food, slow delivery service

The food is great. And the lunch special is good value. But it takes forever to arrive -- always over an hour, sometimes even 90 minutes. Order way, way, way before you are hungry.

    Going down hill

Over the past few years the service and quality of food for this place has been going down hill! They are rude when they take your order, it takes forever for the delivery and the food is sloppy, thrown into the take out containers and doesn't even taste good anymore. I don't eat in so I cannot compare but the quality has definitely gone down.

Any cheaper and it would be free!

Spice is a fantastic place for a quick lunch, fun dinner and even a date. The prices are fantastic and the food is very tasty. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, but after a few of their sake mojitos you won't really mind. Living in the east village it is a pleasure to know that there is a Spice just a hop skip and a jump away from me!

    Cheap, yet overpriced

True, Spice offers competitive prices for NYC dining. However, the best I can say about their food is that it isn't awful. I spent $14 on pad-thai and spring rolls. For $4, you get 3 damn spring rolls, and the pad-thai smelled like dishwater.

    Great spot for lunch

Had lunch with my co-workers last week and had a great time. Service was quick, correct, and pretty friendly. The food was very yummy (had soup and sauteed tofu in garlic sauce) for a very reasonable price. Get there early to be seated quickly.

    Incredible flavor

BEST Thai in the city, hands down. This puts Lemongrass and all those other little chains to shame. Went there with a big group for a birthday dinner and tried different things. Recommend the grilled salmon with sweet and sour sauce-phenomenal ! I swear they put crack in this food it's so good. Don't just get pad thai- try everything else, it's worth it. The shrimp, dumplings, salads...it's all in the sauces.

    Delicious tai-fast Addicting!

My boyfriend and I live around the corner, and we must order from Spice once, if not twice a week. It's seriously addicitng. They're always pretty fast, but I prefer delivery because it's usually cramped and a little loud in the restaurant. The tai ice teas are HUGE, and you will be satisfied with the portions. I really like their RED CURRY and their appetizers are all really good. Try the curry puff or the corn meal dusted shrimp. You won't be disapointed, and just might become addicted.... I will still say, however, that Pad Thai down the street has better pad thai, but can't compete otherwise since they have changed format.
