With out a doubt the best sirloin I've ever tasted! Great service with a nice atmosphere.

Went there last week, and a late reservation was no problem whatsoever. We waited about 20 minutes max, but had a nice glass of wine and enjoyed the people watching ? sort of a mix of yuppie and Soprano in an old world steakhouse vibe. Creamed spinach is wonderfully balanced, not too much cream and nicely spinach-y. House salad was very crisp romaine with 4 tomato wedges and a great Roquefort dressing. Have come to the conclusion that all steakhouse hash browns are awful, so did not try them.

reservation two months ahead yielded us a table in front of the bathrooms: wait staff was flat no personality:do not order the ceaser salad it is shamefully unattractive: the spinach was flat:the meat was poorly presented however it was tasty and done correctly: I know a good steak house and this IS not RECAP=! NO SERVICE:NO AMBIENCE: NO PRESENTATION....GOODSTEAKS HOWEVER NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE TAB!

Take it from someone who has been to over 20 different steakhouses in Manhattan over the past 2 years, Sparks still ranks #1. They really do nothing wrong, and anytime I need to impress someone, this is the place!

My family and ate there last summer. We had to wait about 20 for a good table but once we sat down it was great. We had a delicous shrimp appetizer, the cleanest and best tasting shrimp I've ever had. I had a sirloin that had a great cooked flavor and crust on top. It was cooked perfectly and the hash brown potatoes were very good.
