not too good, too expensive
The food is OK. Hard to get this simple stuff wrong, though. The service is pretty awful, and the prices are just too high. I don't think this joint will make it through the recession. It already is quiet, with empty tables.

Great place for BBQ
I have been here several times and always recommend it to friends visiting NYC. The food is very good and the service is excellent. Come hungry, because the portions are generous! The restaurant has a great vibe.

great ribs & drinks
I loved the food! I had the rib and chicken combo with mac & cheese and greens. The meat was tender and had a nice smoky flavor. The mac & cheese was out of control good! I also had the iced tea/lemonade/vodka drink (can't remember the name, ha) and it went down smooth not too strong or sweet, just right.

Super goodness
I was really surpised by how good the BBQ is. My family is from the south so I'm a hard grader of BBQ. The mac & cheese was loaded with cheesy goodness & the BBQ was also smoky and perfectly seasoned. It's surely on my do over list.

Awful service
My friends and I have given this place three chances. Each time we had the same experience. Pretty good food, but poor service. I will not be spending any more of my money here.

Best BBQ in UES
Great food and cheap drink specials. I would recommend fried pickles and BBQ nachos for apps and the pulled pork for an entree. Only negative thing I have to say is the service is subpar, so if you can handle poor service definitely give it a try
