High hopes, diminished returns
Have been trying to get here for a while now and had the opportunity to do so tonight with my fiance. It was quiet in there - go figure its Monday and we got offered a table jammed against a wall with no view - even though there was plenty of open tables. We moved and got a better position. The price of food is ridiculous - I've eaten BBQ all over the US and this is by far the most expensive - $15 for mac and cheese? We opted for a pulled pork sandwich - always a good test of a BBQ restaurant - and got a cold soggy dish. This was returned and a new hot sandwich was delivered. At best I can say the pulled pork was just OK - it seemed to have been microwaved at some point in its life. I must say that once we factored in 2 beers, $35 (inc tip) for 2 mediocre pulled pork sandwiches is not good value even less when the food wasn't all that to begin with. Bottom line: Glad we finally made it there but disappointed with the result and cost. Will not be going back.

delivery issues
i don't know any of the in restaurant criteria, but ordered for delivery tonight as i live a block away. food took an hour to be delivered, when arrived was cold. obviously the last stop on the route. do not order for delivery from here. especially if you live close by and expect your food to arrive hot.

Poor food and service
I ordered the fried chicken and the baby back ribs. The chicken, while beautifully crispy skinned had no flavor. I mean, really, no flavor at all. The ribs were the same. They screwed up the sides, sending me mashed potatoes instead of the requested Mac and cheese. They were unappetizing also. Gluey, with such an intense butter taste that it clearly did not come from nature. Regarding the packaging - the actual food was well packed, and it certainly arrived hot - but the little sauce containers were a different story. A couple of them open and leaking all over the place. Honestly, I think I'd have been better off ordering from the dreaded BBQ. I can't speak to actually eating at the place, as I've only gotten delivery, but I can't imagine that somehow the food would somehow become more flavorful by virtue of sitting at one of their tables, in house.

Try a diff chicken place
I ordered in from this place as i was wanting to try it since i saw the tv feature in one of the morning shows. I ordered the chicken platter, and i can't say enough bad things about it. While the food came quick and the woman on the phone was very nice, the food was not good. The chicken was under cooked, and the pieces were so large, that it must have been a chicken on steriods, and it tasted rubbery and tastless, even being fried. I got mashed potatoes and the mac & cheese on the side and that was fine. There was way too much chicken for one person. If someone really wanted to try the chicken, and my opinions are no meaningful, i would opt for 1 piece of chicken and a side, that would more than plenty for one meal...and good luck to you. Later after eatting the food, my stomach was so upset and churning that for hours i was unable to leave the house, or even the bathroom.

Pulled pork.....
Pulled pork is too barbecue saucy. Was hoping for Carolina style instead of tomato mush.

Great Spot
Everything was surprisingly good. Chicken wings are amazing, as good as anywhere. Pulled pork still had some body and texture, unlike the saucy mincemeat some places serve. Service was efficient and polite. Way better than most NYC barbecue.

Food is Good..the rest...
Good bar food and love the fact you can get a couple of big ribs for $6 and don't need to buy the whole rack. Chicken fingers are great too. The problem is the beer selection is weak, and they are often out of the only decent beers - Abita, Guinness, etc.. Always plenty of Coors light though. Also, the glasses are not clean. Both pint glasses we got, and both high ball glasses we got had residue on them or were greasy. Really nasty to drink from a dirty glass. If you want a bottle of domestic light beer and some buffalo shrimp, then go.
