Great food n service, nice private rooms

We are planning an event for later this year and checked out Sosa Borella because of its private rooms upstairs. Food & service were great. Clara, the manager we were talking to, nicely arranged "sampler" entrees so we could try a few things - the chicken, beef, salmon & sides were tasty. Our server was friendly & accommodating. Nice ambience. The private rooms upstairs looked great! Good location. Regardless of whether or not we ultimately have our party here, I recommend this restaurant & would dine here again.

    Great food, reasonable prices

Got a kick out of the review below. This is not a kid's restaurant and not Carmine's -- they have a handful of pastas on the menu, but nothing with cream sauce (so why expect them to make you pasta in cream sauce?). Small place, but a great find. I have recommended to a handful of people and all love it. Great fish, bread is excellent, service ok. Order from here to my office at least once a week.

    Not very kid friendly

We went there with two kids. First, the kids tried to get fettucini alfredo, but they were told that it was not available. They could have easily offered them cream sauce or something similar. We finally settled on plain pasta with butter. I asked to split a order of pasta between the two kids, but I was told that it was against their policy! When the kids orders showed up, they were only enough to feed a 10 year old, but they were full price. This is really unfortunate, because the rest of our food was pretty good and not terribly priced. Good sangria.

    Delicious

The food here is delicious. Especially the pesto aioli dip they give with the bread upon being seated. Not always the fastest service, but it is worth the wait. Best fries in the 'hood- sweet potato and regular!
