goat and pork chops
This is not authentic Cuban or Latin Cusine. I am latin and know good latin or Cuban Food. This food base is salt ...uh. the poorest canned beans i have ever tasted. the goat was not well cooked and the chops were over fried and smothered in oil. I would never go back to this place. I hate to eat in places that give latin food a bad reputation. The base seasoning for latin food is garlic and spicies.....not just salt. this place should be called the "Salty and Grease Spoon"

As poor as it gets
The food is only Cuban by its looks. The seasoning is unappetizing and of course it's mostly flavorless. Some of it, like 'congris' is overly greasy even for Cuban standards, the goat is bland and the oxtail the same. Even the salad seems more like the buffet restaurants in the neighborhood . Prices are good but fot that quality I don't think they can charge more. Definetely would not recommend this place to anybody who would like to try real Cuban food.

Best Cuban
First time eating here and absolutely loved it! Eat a lot of Cuban in Florida but this place wins hands down! Can't wait to go back.....fresh and delicious.

Great hot sauce
Everything I've tried here is delicious. Wish the food was more garlicky, or I could get garlic on the side, but I imagine that's a real minority opinion. Portion size can vary but if you order the rice and beans you'll be full all day. Sandwiches take much longer than they should - stick with the already prepared entrees. The green hot sauce is the best I've ever had. It's very irritating that they are so stingy with it on the take out/delivery orders. If they switched to larger containers instead of the thimble sized ones I'd be a frequent customer.

Starting to go downhill
The food is still good, but the portion size has been getting significantly smaller over the past few months. Unless they give you more, it's not worth the $10 pricetag for lunch.

Food was pretty good, black beans could use more taste. Forget about the waiter service, guy who waited on my friends and I had an attitude.

Holy chili hot sauce!
Did they put extra chilies when they made their green hot sauce today? b/c my mouth is burning! And I usually have a high tolerance of spice. I usually just go in for their empanadas and yuca - so good and inexpensive. They are pretty cheap with their sauce tho - one per customer even if you buy more than one empanada. Not very smart b/c then I'll just buy one.
