Don't know what has happened to this place. We used to love it. We went there on a humid night. The large windows and doors were open and it was stuffy and smelly outside. The waiter refused to turn on the a/c because "the windows were open" There was one other couple in the restaurant (we were 4 people). The music was very loud and we were seated right under a speaker. Asked the waiter to turn the music down, very politely. He said he would, but didn't. We left. We used to love the food here, but no more chances for you, Soukk.

I order from Sookk about 2X a week, each time adding something new to my repertoire. They have not disappointed ke yet. I am partial to my traditional favorite Pad Thai with vegetarian duck, which tastes better than the real thing. I am in love with their Curry Puffs....double yum!

i have been eating here a lot lately. All of a sudden half my friends seem to have gone vegan and this place accommodates everyone's dietary preferences and not boringly either. The Roadside Noodles are especially good.

I commend Sookk for their speedy service as well as their thoroughness with regards to reviewing my order. The appetizers that I ordered included the curry puffs and the chive pancakes. Those were not disappointing, the curry puffs were better than pancakes, however, the pad thai that I ordered was sub-par at best. It was bland and tasteless.

I ordered delivery from this place and the food was so good that I ordered again within the next couple days. Dinner portions are enough for two and come super fast. I decided to try eating in and brought my sister here and now love it even more. Really cute spot, not to be missed!

As a Thai-loving college grad on a budget, I love Sookk. They're entrees are tasty, spicy, and generally large enough for two portions. When I order in, I like to eat half and save the rest for lunch the next day. The restaurant is bright and fun without being snooty and the decent food/beer prices make it a great spot for a low-key first date.

I've come here with friends for dinner and get the lunch special all the time. The lunch special has the best value for 30 blocks in either direction. They give you a generous portion of food and then a free appetizer on top of that. For $8, I get food that would be at least $15 anywhere else. The prices do rise around dinner, but so do the portions and creativity in the food. You must try to Thai paella in a clay pot! They put two dinners worth of food in there with large shrimp, scallops, and a great sauce on the side. Great restaurant. The waiters are nice. Excellent place for a date too!
