My new favorite place!
I ordered delivery from this place and the food was so good that I ordered again within the next couple days. Dinner portions are enough for two and come super fast. I decided to try eating in and brought my sister here and now love it even more. Really cute spot, not to be missed!

Great delivery and cheap date spot!
As a Thai-loving college grad on a budget, I love Sookk. They're entrees are tasty, spicy, and generally large enough for two portions. When I order in, I like to eat half and save the rest for lunch the next day. The restaurant is bright and fun without being snooty and the decent food/beer prices make it a great spot for a low-key first date.

Great Lunch Special and Great Dinner
I've come here with friends for dinner and get the lunch special all the time. The lunch special has the best value for 30 blocks in either direction. They give you a generous portion of food and then a free appetizer on top of that. For $8, I get food that would be at least $15 anywhere else. The prices do rise around dinner, but so do the portions and creativity in the food. You must try to Thai paella in a clay pot! They put two dinners worth of food in there with large shrimp, scallops, and a great sauce on the side. Great restaurant. The waiters are nice. Excellent place for a date too!

inexpensive lunch
between 11 and 3 you can get an amazing lunch special for just $7 at this place. the food is really good, but if you get it at another time other than the special it is average priced. the service is a bit poor but other than that this place is a great value

Used to be a fan
We used to love going to Sookk, but the last few times going there (over last 6-9 months), it has been a dissapointment. The service has been poor, with the wait staff consistently not taking our drink orders, not bringing serving utensils and not asking us if we wanted dessert at the end of the meal. It seems our presence was more a bother than wanted business. The food quality has gone done tremendously, with our recent red curry being unappetizing - I will not go back. There are much better options nearby. Sorry to see this place take a nose dive, but it has.

Lunch special
For $7, you get a well-spiced vegetable soup, choice of appetizer, entree and choice of soda or Thai ice cream. All the dishes I've sampled have been well above average with good flavors and quality ingredients. I say go.

great place but there's room for improvement
I was delighted to find this cozy and cute Thai restaurant a block away from my apartment. The decor is charming, the waiters have always been incredibly nice and pleasant, and service is excellent as well. Many of their dishes have been tasty - but I'll also admit that there's room for improvement. Their Crispy Fillet Tilapia was SO delicious at my first try. I was eager to order it for the second time, and was greatly disappointed that it was NOT as good as before. Their Spicy Basil Noodles are always good, but when I ordered it for take out it did not taste the same. I recently tried their Green Curry...was too watery. Their appetizers are always tasty though. I don't know if they rotate chefs or what... but please be consistent with the quality of your food! And your curry is too watery!
