I eat a lot of Thai food and was struggling to find a place in the Slope that was up to par. Song is the answer to my Thai cravings! The food is all very fresh, the atmosphere is really nice and while it is usually crowded, it is very open and airy feeling. The pad thai is excellent, the curry was very tasty (and spicy) and overall was a very enjoyable meal. We will certainly be back.

To elaborate on this review's title, I ordered a vegetarian (checked with the waiter) sautee, and there was a big chunk of chicken buried in it. Not cute. The waiter seemed non-plussed about the issue and returned with a new dish shortly, although it was barely cooked. Overall , too many peppers used as filler in their formula. They also did not have brown rice, and the waiter did not know if they had decaf tea. Maybe worth going if you like the bar scene and can figure out how to open the front door!

Checked out Song for the first time last night and was truly impressed. The spicy noodles is so good and the portions are quite large. Will definitely make the commute to the slope from queens again to enjoy a tasty meal. It's also reasonably priced for the quality and experience on the area

Song has excellent food at an affordable price. I love the spicy noodles and pork fried rice. Much better for takeout. The stark atmosphere bugs me out. Also, the service isn't great. Even so, eating in is awesome because the food is well worth it. Definitely the best Thai place in the slope.

Found out about this place thru menupages. Nice atmosphere (dark with candlelight), young crowd, food comes quick and hot, good service. Where can you get Pad Thai for $6.95 for dinner? Because this place is popular, you might have to wait 30 minutes on a Sunday night for a table for 4.

Mediocre aps, but the entrees/atmosphere are a great deal

Song's strongest point has to be its value for money. The food is good, always enjoyable and the portion sizes are on the large side. However the wait time for service can be horrendous - I once waited 30 mins just to have someone take my order for drinks - waited another 15 for the drinks.
