Best Thai in the Slope
I went to this place with a friend last summer and it's one of my favorites in the city and the best in the Slope. The prices are great and they have a great selection (even for vegetarians). Entrees are big enough to split, in my opinion. Very speedy, friendly service.

great Thai takeout,
The atmosphere is too loud and busy for me, but my boyfriend and I LIVE on takeout from this place. I disagree with many people here in their assessment of the pad thai -- it is a tiny bit bland and rubbery for my taste -- but the spicy noodle dish is excellent, as are all the curries and salads. The delivery is lightning fast and the value is tremendous -- three dishes will usually be enough for both of us to have two full meals, dinner and lunch the next day. In fact, the only problem with Song is that it's so dependable, it's making us less ambitious about trying new places in the Slope!

Finally!
Finally, a great Thai restaurant in Park Slope. Most of the others are mediocre and not worth writing home about. Yes, sometimes they don't pick up the phone because they literally get killed with take out requests on Thursday and Friday nights. Be patient. Its worth the wait - and they are super quick once they get the order. They have another great location in Brooklyn Heights. They also get an honorable mention for service. I called to complain once that they forgot to give me rice with my take out order, and they came back 5 minutes later with more rice and gave me all of my money back. Who does that? If they had terrible food I'd understand them bending over backwards. But clearly they are not hurting for customers - they just want to get things right.

Answer the phone!
They seem to take their phone off the hook and dont actually deliver, although they say they do. Have had great experiences eating in though. But subpar with phone and delivery.

Great food great prices
We love coming here, food is really fresh and really gets to all of your senses. Price is a bargain, especially in this neighborhood with rising prices. Space has a industrial feel to it and is well used, the garden is really great in the summer too. They have concrete blocks in the ground so you can dine sitting on pillows in the grass which offers something different. My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood by far.

Best Thai in PS
Hands down. Cannot agree with the other comment about plentiful good Thai in Park Slope. This place, however, is great and yes it is inexpensive too which just makes it better.

Good Pad Thai
I just tried the pad thai yesterday and I thought it was delicious! I live in the area and have tried many local thai spots--which are good, of course, some better than others-- but Song has them beat with their pad thai dish. Y U M !
