I decided to be bold and try this place for the first time tonight and it was fantastic! We ordered a large pizza with four toppings and every one of them was quality. The mushrooms and caramelized onions were especially great. I even ate the crust for once! The large pie itself is also huge -- my boyfriend saw the box and asked if I somehow ordered an XL. Overall, it was some of the best pizza around for sure, and somehow cheaper than most of them. Our pizza also was delivered really quickly and we live ten blocks away. It even came with a coupon for a free dessert and half off our next pizza, no strings attached. Can't beat that. I'll definitely be ordering again.

I really enjoy the pizza here, and order it for delivery a few times a month. I suggest a pepperoni pie, well done. Good cheese, the sauce isn't too sweet, the dough actually has a taste, and I find that they use nice quality toppings as well. As soon as I call, they have my address and phone number, so all I need to do is place my order. The guys are always courteous, and the pie is always at my door in 30min (11 blocks away). I just got a fresh cheese slice at 3AM, which I would say is pretty darn good service. The crust is really good, and they did not scrimp on the cheese. The sauce is a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but I am impressed overall. The one drawback was that the restaurant smelled oddly like feet while I was waiting.

I've been tossing pies all my life and nothing compares to Sal's style pizza. Everything there is great. Its the best bang for your buck. Who wants to spend $2 bucks for a gross slice and soda down the block (finest pizza)? All your really signing up for is HEARTBURN!

I have to agree, the best pizza in the neighborhood- FINALLY! i've tried almost everything in the menu and I have no complaints. the regular cheese slices are still my favorite though... much luck solo!!

I agree that the regular slice is fair. I oredered the deep dish delivery for 25 bucks ( plus tip and soda over 30 )expecting a deep dish pie and all it was was a regular pie with more toppings. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A DEEP DISH. If your just grabbing a quick regular slice on the run its fine but man i was annoyed otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, I love the gourmet pies at Lil' Frankie's, and Kronkite BUT this is REAL american style pizza. There are so many bisquick tasting pies out there that are loaded with cheese and no sauce but this place is not so. Perfect crust (slighly crispy and chewy) perfect sauce (nicely sweet) not too much cheese and the carmalizes onion topping is great! The muffins are kinda weird and very tough to eat but I cannot recommend the pizza for a quick cheap delivery or a stay at home movie night.... LOVE IT!
