    Delicious

What a great spot on the UES! Great place to have a drink, relax, and eat some great food. I came here with my husband and we had a cheese plate and meat plate to start which was amazing! Then we shared the Long Island duck which was out of this world. We finished that quickly and ordered from Kobe beef sliders! Yum! The burgers were so cute! I will deff. be back for more!

    Amazing food

This place is my new favorite spot on the UES. I just moved into the neighborhood and have been browsing around trying different restaurants in the neighborhood. Sojourn is by far my favorite spot. The food is amazing. I am also big on wines and this place has a huge selection of wines. The crowd is so alive. The whole idea of the sharing menu is something I love because I can eat different types of food. I am not restricted to one type of food. I came on a saturday and the place was packed so I advise anyone who wants to go to make a reservation. Also, the duck spring rolls are out of this world! Chicken Satay is another dish to die for! The dish that really had me sold was the sesame crusted tuna. Also the service was on point which is a must for any restaurant I got to.

    Still hungry

Seemed like the whole menu were only appetizers. Way to expensive for such a small amount of food.

    Amazing place!

The food is soooo delicious! Butternut squash salad is finger licking good and so are the rest of the things on the menu. I had a taste of pepper crusted ahi tuna and lamb shank. The lamb was so soft is was falling off the bone. The chocolate flowerless cake was a sweet-bitter end to my last visit. I have been there 4-5 times already and every time I'm super pleased with everything. It does get a bit loud though.

I've never reviewed a restaurant before but felt like I needed to for Sojourn. Unbelievable food at great prices...my new favorite spot.

Hope this place never leaves the UES

Food is great great great and the mixed drinks are just as memorable. You must try the Moscow Mule with ginger...you will crave this drink for the rest of the week. Cheesecake for dessert is superb...gram cracker crust made fresh everyday (that's the secret to great cheesecake) For entree the salmon with mushrooms in a truffle sauce is savory and addictive. The entree plates are smaller portions but coupled with an appetizer should be enough. Really love this place and hope it sticks around for a while.

    Good food, poor service

I live on the UES and would frequent this restaurant often, as it was always reliable when it came to the food and has a great vibe. However, I will NEVER go back there again. First, it was a Tuesday night at 8:45 so it was far from crowded. After 20 minutes of being seated we finally caught the bus boys attention to send the waiter over so we can order a drink. Strike one - waiting 20 mins to get a waiter to come and ask for drink order. Since we had plenty of time to review the menu, we ordered three small plates at the same time we ordered our first round of drinks. 30 minutes later our potato croquettes came with our drink. So now, it's 50 minutes into sitting until we got one small plate and one drink. Another 20 mins later, the second plate came and we ordered second round of drinks. 20 minutes later we finally got our second round of drinks and our last plate. Stike two - waiting 1.5 hours in total for 3 small plates and 2 cocktails a person. Then, the owner comes over in an arrogant way to apologize for the wait. After that, we naturally thought we'd get comp'd one drink, offered an after dinner drink or dessert on the house. No dice. Strike three: no class. I have sent many people to this restaurant and never will again.
