Great dinner! Awesome service!
I had made a reservation through Open Table for 6. When I got to the restaurant early, I told the hostess we would only be 5. She was so nice and invited me to sit at the bar or in the waiting area. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server who was wonderful with our table. My friends had chicken and waffles, chicken wings, mac and cheese, steak and salmon. Everyone was satisfied with what s/he ordered and all agreed we would return. Thanks SoCo!

Good food, good value
We had a nice brunch at Soco. The omelets were well done and tasty, the sweet potato hash was good, the cheese grits were creamy, and the bacon was crispy. There were several average items including slightly overcooked French toast, average coffee, and weak orange juice that we were told was fresh squeezed. The service was attentive without being annoying and the atmosphere was energetic, fun, and casual - perfect for Sunday brunch. Overall a good time and we plan to have dinner at SoCo in the near future.

Worth checking out
This is a great spot for a girl's night out. I went out to celebrate my friends birthday and the treatment was great. The food is very good, I recommend the pecan crusted pork chops and Mac n cheese. Great overall experience.

Not bad...
Had to try this place. Took my family including my 19 month old grandchild. I must say that the service was great. The wait staff was very attentive even though it was VERY crowded and busy. I was looking forward to the chicken and waffle. I was not pleased with the two veery little pieces of chicken that I received. The waffle (red velvet) was good. My son had the Lobster, shrimp and grits. The dish was very flavorful however the grits were a bit grainy and not cooked to a nice creamy consistency. The mac and cheese was a winner for all of us. The drinks were very expensive and small. I have to say that i did enjoy the Red Lemonade Vodka drink. The crawfish dumplings were interesting. The dumplings are made of crawfish wrapped around collard greens. We went for dinner this time but the next time we will try out the brunch menu. Soco is worth a visit.

Amazingly Awesome!
We wandered into soco one night when they just had a tapas menu and we were blown away by the drink menu as well as what we got to taste! Since that day we have tried to make it there once a week if not more. The food is perfectly amazing! Unique twists on comfort foods like the fried chicken and red velvet waffle *mouth waters*, BBQ shrimp Gumbo, the wings and ribs and the CRAWFISH DUMPLINGS (MUST TRY) make it worth the trip. And the drink menu is just as delicious. I think everyone in brooklyn (and the tri state area) should come and experience SoCo!
