Snice nice snice
I visited NY with a friend for a couple of weeks and by coincident we bumped into this friendly, colourful, nice smelling corner-coffee-shop annex vegetarian restaurant. The atmosphere is fine, it's an ideal place to write, if you are used to some noise. The muffins are pretty good. The buffalo-wrap somebody already mentioned shouldn't served any longer with this "salsa-saus". It's too dominant in taste. The salads were super. I returned almost everyday for a tea or a salad. So, a userrate of 8 out of 10, from a german-girl used to superb vegetarian kitchens in the Netherlands. Next time I definetly will return.

S'nice is S'wonderful
Snice is the perfect New york hangout. The staff is helpful, but not insincerely friendly, the food is wonderful and cheap, especially for vegan food in NY. The place is comfortable, with all kinds of characters. An all around great experience.

Best Date Squares
sNice is a nice enough spot for a lite sandwich or salad. Very comfortable and very casual room. They do have the very best (and very hard to find) date squares.

S'okay, I guess.
My boyfriend and I went to S'nice for his birthday. We'd heard that the atmosphere was super casual, but we figured the amazing vegan fare extolled in multiple reviews would more than make our visit worthwhile. The atmosphere was just fine, but the food was dissapointing. The buffalo soy wrap I had was chunks of TVP covered in a Texas Pete-like sauce. The seitan in his Philly Cheesesteak lacked the texture of seitan. The side salads were mundane (mescaline doused in vinegar.) Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice, but the amateur vegan plates dished out weren't worth the visit.

Vegan and Veggie Heaven
The best vegan sandwiches I have ever had. And the staff is nice, nice, nice. I almost hate to let the secret out. All the panini, salads and side dishes are thougtfully plated, stuffed with delicious, fresh ingredients, and generous. The space is cozy and fosters most excellent vibes.

The omnivore's dilemma has been solved
sNice is better than nice! The staff is warm, the vibe is mellow and friendly and the music isn't too loud. Best of all, the food is fantastic. All the vegan sandwiches are filled with flavorful and nicely textural meat substitutes. The buffalo and barbecue sandwiches are astonishingly good as is the sesame chicken and philly steak which comes vegan or with real cheese. The panini are also pretty good though some of the cheese choices might be reshuffled or made optional. Everything comes on high quality breads and the side salads rotate regularly. I've never had a bad one. This is a great place to spend a relaxed hour in the afternoon or to bring a vegan/veggie skeptic who needs evidence that responsible food choices can be fun and delicious.

Excellent Tempeh Reuben
Excellent selection of soy sandwiches. The Tempeh Reuben was really good; the Philly Seitan Soy Cheese Steak was pretty good. Sandwiches are a good size, filling, fresh, and come with a side salad. Pretty good value. I would definitely return for the reuben and to try more of their soy delights.
