Falling out of like with this restaurant.
I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions but the experience is quite similar each time. As a long time older vegetarian, I look for places to go that offer things other than salads. This place seems so affected, as if being a vegan or vegetarian has some moral authority over others. I get it, I'm an old vegetarian but the workers are distant and somewhat standoffish, the front windows are always dirty, and the workers seem to me to be acting tolerant of the misguided old folks that wander in to their groovy scene. It's rather boring and I think it is the wrong attitude to convey. It's silly. They should be welcoming and enthusiastic and encouraging and helping people fall in love with vegan and vegetarian options and get over themselves. There are a lot of us that have been vegetarian since before they were born and I personally do not think it helps the cause to act all self-important. Being a vegetarian should bring a joyous smile and enthusiasm to their faces, not a pained sacrificial intolerant attitude. I am very over S'nice and their affected ways and I have been there multiple mulitple times and I find it always to be the same. They should present as more tolerant helpful people and make the experience wonderful so that others might entertain being a veggie or choosing veggie options more often.

poor sandwiches
we used to eat here a long time ago had some good experiences some nice but thought we'd give it another try.. got coffee and brownies last evening they were fab so went back today nobody in line waited for nearly 15 mins for a veggie sandwich which was basically 3 slices of toasted whole wheat hummus peppers some salad and why 3 slices of bread ? more veggies would not have gone astray with tip came to $10 not nice and a huge price - go elsewhere for sandwiches and service

Different and good cfor vegs/vegans
This was first time. I am a vegetarian but not vegan and was not sure how a vegan food would taste. Ordered Scrambled Tofu wrap (w seasoned, black beans, red/green pepper) was tasty and was spicy enough for my taste (i like spicy food). It is a small place but accomodates about 10-15 people to sit.

noise
I deliberately stay out of this restaurant in the morning because of its fairly loud rock and roll music over the speakers. I sure would like to find quiet morning places to have breakfast! If any music, it should be very soft, and preferably classical.

Excellent catering
If you're looking for a place to cater an event, 'sNice is definitely at the top. Their sandwiches are unique and absolutely delicious. No matter what kind of eaters you have at a party, it seems that everyone loves them. My family has used their service many times this year and we are never disappointed. The owner is incredibly helpful, friendly, professional. It is always a pleasure to work with them. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

'Snice is definitely the WRONG name
I've now been here about 10 times, and I continue to LOWER my rating of this place. I started out loving it here.... But a staff who couldn't care if I lived or died (I'm very friendly and always put cash in the tip jar), have a complete inability to make suggestions, and stand around texting their friends, is not a staff I'm impressed with. It takes more than decent food and nice atmosphere for a place to earn stars. Some staff members are really friendly, mainly the guys who call out people's names and bring the food. So far, everyone behind the counter -- male or female -- has been a jerk. Never mind that the music is either too loud to relax at a cafe or too death metal for the location (both things would be fine if the place's vibe were completely different...like if it were a tattoo joint). It's too suffocating inside on the hot days, freezing in the winter. And while the "meat"ball sub was awesome (if not a little small), the bean burrito was mostly lettuce and maybe a tablespoon of beans. The vegan cupcakes are good, as are most of the vegan cakes. But every cookie I've had here TASTES like its trying really hard to be "vegan"...and sacrificing taste as a result. Sandwiches are hit or miss. Vegan milkshakes are good depending on who makes it (tip: have a guy make your shake). And don't expect much attention from the staff.

Don't ask!
Asked for ketchup and was glared at like I was insane! I mean, I am a meat eater, and on a whim stopped in. Let me just say I am back at McDonald's tomorrow. It wasn't even as good as meat!
