overly salty soups!!
I have eaten here a few times with no problems. Tonite I wanted soup to ease my sore throat and I ordered the Kim Chee hot pot. It was so salty that I tried to add half a glass of water so I wouldn't have to complain. Didn't work and I sent it back and ordered the Ramen. Way too salty also! I'm really going to have to think hard about ever eating soups there again.

MSG galore
I ordered some Korean noodles and asked for the removal of MSG. They literally responded, "If we take the MSG out, it won't have much flavor." Never went back there.

I want to move to Snacky
I love Snacky so much I almost don't want to express it because it's small in there and I don't want to have to wait for a table. Everything is good there, but the dumplings are the standout for sure. They're a little crispy and are served with peanut sauce. I just want to eat them every day. Snacky also has a very impressive sake selection if you feel like getting hammered. As I said earlier, it is very small so a party of 2 should get seated fairly quickly, but if you have more that 4 people you should try to go during off peak hours. Also, they are not open on Sunday, which is very inconvenient for me.

okay if you like pre-prepared stuff
Oh, I really want to love Snacky...truly I do! But the menu consists of nothing more than pre-made food that's reheated. Seriously. Between the udon, unagi bowl, edamame and the assortment of Asian tapas...it's impossible to pinpoint if anything is made from scratch. The drinks are pretty lousy too...and the entire place always seems short-staffed. Too bad because the owner Sandy is such a sweetheart!

good stuff
snacky suprised me with a cozy atmosphere, totally appropriate for a leisurely meal with friends. also, the food and drinks were very delicious. very cute, small tapas-portioned food.
