Avoid the food, stick to the drinks

If u see everyone around you drinking or maybe sometimes ordering a burger there is a reason, food is so bad, portions are small (I mean TINY) and overpriced. Burger is the only safe (and filling) choice if u are really starving. Beers are great though

    Delicious food, nice people

I loved this place - thought the food was great and the menu is very inventive with seasonal and fresh ingredients. Dont know how they cook all that from the teeny kitchen behind the bar but kudos to them for doing so. Like a great home-cooked meal. Headed back for the new spring dinner menu.

    Glad I went...

Met friends here on a Sunday night. Would never have gone in otherwise. Can't tell what is going on inside. Once in, the place is cozy and super small. Glad the night was slow, otherwise, we'd have been packed in. There is no kitchen; the chef cooks from behind the bar! The food was basic and yet inventive. The waitress was super. Good value, but I am not sure what all the hubbub is about. The bathroom, an old elevator cab, was the best part of the experience. What does that tell you? Glad I went, now I will go on with my life...

Fun before or after dinner spot

A good place to go with two or three, as it's super small but fun (have a back up plan in case you can't all fit). It's got good drinks, and i like the overall feel - a little trendy without trying. But- i wasn't aware of the hype the other review mentions - that's a little disappointing. And the food isn't worth writing home about, but that's not really why you go unless you're a bird.

    I don't get it.

Had dinner there last night- crowded, loud and smelly (they need to invest in a ventilation system- my clothes still reek of awful food smells). Bland and mediocre food. Sweet waiter. I don't understand the hype with this place- won't return.

Great place except for the clientele...

Great place but its become overrun by annoying bratty trust fund kids and I feel sorry for the people who work there because of this.

this place is good...the vibe is chill ...it feels like picture postcard new york spot...i hesitate to review bc its so small i dont want it to get too packed...but really, well worth it to come in for a bite and a cocktail...good service too
