The best!!
This was my favourite diner in New York. It had everything. The service was great, the one guy was so friendly. I had the lumberjack breakfast every morning. What an all-american experience. I shall never forget it. Would highly recommend.

poor service
I called the person to answer the phone had a very unfriendly attitude, even told me that i didn't sound like i knew what i was talking about. Ive been ordering since Dec and the new staff is subpar!

Soo Dissapointed
Me and my finace heard so much about this diner and needless to say we were so excited to eat there when we got there the hostess was so rude, she siad nothing to us, it wasnt packed so its not like she was overwhelmed with a crowd or anything she was on her phone texting (very unprofessional)! The food was ok! nothing speacial..dissapointed, i do not agree that this is the number one diner in NYC.

An excellent find..
We were staying in the Hotel Penn and like a few others on trying to find the Cheyenne diner (closed) stumbled across the Skylight, we ate here every day for breakfast/lunch and would firmly recommend.....great food, ever better value and good location

horrible delivery/service
left on hold for 5 minutes, disconnected twice. everytime I called back, I was put on hold for several minutes again and was treated terrible. I wouldn't have ordered at all, had it not been a company order for our lunch. Thank god the food arrived totally cold so we never have to order from there again. ugh. AWFUL.

a good port in the storm
We ate here on July 4. It wasn't our first choice, but that was closed. The feta burger and omelet were well made. We both received numerous refills of coffee and water as if by telepathy. The service was excellent.. While we dined a policeman was ordering food to go. You know what they say...
