Brunch
Skylight was fine for brunch on a Sunday. Eggs Benedict, pancakes and French toast all good. Great value>

stick with burgers or breakfast
horrible rubbery scallops, ravioli undercooked. staff didnt know menu well - gave me potato and fries as option with my scallops not telling me if i did that i would have no pasta with it!

Incompetence
Ordered my food, called back an hour later, and instead of just telling me they were on their way, they gave every excuse in the book as to why they were late. Then an hour later, I call back again, and this time they say they delivery guy didn't get an answer. After instruction were SPECIFICALLY given. Poor service, incompetent and uncaring staff.

A personal favorite
Always a good dining experience at Skylight, for me. Very fast and efficient. Excellent portions too.

The best!!
This was my favourite diner in New York. It had everything. The service was great, the one guy was so friendly. I had the lumberjack breakfast every morning. What an all-american experience. I shall never forget it. Would highly recommend.

poor service
I called the person to answer the phone had a very unfriendly attitude, even told me that i didn't sound like i knew what i was talking about. Ive been ordering since Dec and the new staff is subpar!

Soo Dissapointed
Me and my finace heard so much about this diner and needless to say we were so excited to eat there when we got there the hostess was so rude, she siad nothing to us, it wasnt packed so its not like she was overwhelmed with a crowd or anything she was on her phone texting (very unprofessional)! The food was ok! nothing speacial..dissapointed, i do not agree that this is the number one diner in NYC.
