    Unique!

The creative and novel blend of contrasting flavors in Skyice's sorbets and ice creams are unparalleled. The dessert/culinary artist behind these "inventions" is a wizard! I live in Manhattan and I swing by Skyice whenever I am on business in Brooklyn. The staff and ambience are terrific. The price structure is wonderful.

    Amazing Place!

I have been been a patron of SkyIce for a few months now and finally getting around to share my review... SkyIce is on to something!! A fantastic combination of charming staff and space, AMAZING FOOD, DOUBLE AMAZING ICE CREAM, traditional and authentic Northern thai cuisine, all at affordable prices!! At this point I've had almost everything on the menu, however my favorites are the northern thai curry noodle, the no-carb pad thai made with papaya noodles, mushroom dumplings, and the chicken larb. I've been eating thai food for many years now and SkyIce is as authentic as you get in New York. Spent time in Bangkok and I can truly say the food is just as you would experience over there. I recommend this place to everyone I know. A great addition to the neighborhood that I imagine will be around for many years to come. (^___^)

    Best Thai in Brooklyn...NYC

Been to SkyIce a number of times now and each time has been fantastic. Authentic food, always fresh, generous portions, affordable, and wildly flavorful. Love the northern thai curry noodle, chicken larb, and they always have a great specials menu. Ice Cream is off the hook!! Great flavors and flavor combinations. Favorites are durian, raspberry cilantro, cucumber lime, honey giner, black sesame seaweed, and thai tea. This place is just solid all around. Must visit.

    Best time and great food

Start with the No Fry Curry Puffs they are absolutely amazing. Then move on to the Beef Penang, it is literally the best I've had outside of Thailand (and maybe the best ever). Then, for desert, have Mangosteen Sorbet. It was as close to a perfect meal I've had at a Thai Restaurant.

    Great ice-cream but disappointing service

Had lunch at SkyIce--the mahi mahi was undercooked and bland, despite coming strongly recommended by the server. She was frazzled and did not know much about the food. The pad see yeuw was flavourful and well made, so at least one dish worked. The raspberry cilantro and cucumber lime sorbet were amazing as was the black sesame seaweed ice cream.

High Quality Food, Thoughtful Menu, Delicious!

There is a lot of Thai food in Park Slope, but SkyIce absolutely stands out. If you're looking for standard Pad Thai delivered to your door in 20 minutes, this is probably not the place for you (although I've never waited more that 45 minutes for my food to be delivered). The food is really fresh and never oily, greasy or soggy. I LOVE the low-carb Pad Thai -- it's addicting! For a not-too-sweet dessert, try the Mango Sorbet with Warm Sweet Coconut Sticky Rice. I was surprised to read the negative reviews about SkyIce but I know that this restaurant is fairly new so I wouldn't be surprised if there were kinks to work out. I highly recommend this place!
