    Yum

Best chinese delivery I've had in Murray Hill. My friends and I were very impressed. Try it!

    Great delivery!

Ever since the first night I moved into this neigborhood I've been ordering from Six Happiness. The service is fast and efficient and the food is good - especially love the steamed vegetable platter with brown rice which we think makes up for the bbq spareribs!

    Rude staff

I've just had the displeasure of trying to order a take out meal from this shop, from which our household have ordered many times before over the past several years. The food is ok, no MSG, and their healthy options are good. But their meat is 'spun' with stock/water to increase its weight and make it seem more tender. This is something quite common in Asian take-outs, but little discussed over here in the US (compared to Europe). But tonight, I tried to order a meal to collect ('in 10 minutes time'), and was faced with a hostile member of staff. Before I could even put my order, I just gave up trying to do what ever this server expected me to do, it was like being quizzed by the gestapo. I have an English accent... is this so complicated? I wanted a friend to pick up in 10 minutes, is this so non-standard? Sorry, I have never been treated so aggressively by a restaurant taking my business. So I hung up, and will ponder whether to order from this, 'my corner Chinese' again. Their attitude really was a disgrace.

    Typical greasy Chinese delivery joint

Nothing remarkable here, it's your basic hole in the wall Chinese food delivery joint. The soup is poor - steer clear of the wontons with the mystery grey meat. Food is high on the grease factor and leaves you feeling pretty unhappy

    Health-minded way to go...

Six Happiness is the best Chinese restaurant if you are health consciouss - not just because they use no MSG and will prepare the food any way you wish (no cornstarch, etc.)...the food is incredible! Try the steamed vegetable dumplings -- nothing like 'em anywhere! I've ordered all sorts of dishes - the spare ribs are hit and miss (sometimes meaty, sometimes fatty, sometimes tiny), but just about everything else is done well. This is a take out joint only -- it almost ruins the experience of the food to eat in at any of the three tables. So go ahead and order -- it's been my experience that they deliver in about 10 minutes and I'm four blocks away! Gotta love it!

    Truelly great cheap chinese

I've ordered from this place with my coworkers (there are 50 of us) over 30 times, and its always great. The inside looks scary but the food delivers flavor each time. Veggie Dumplings are great, but skip the 'special' sauce and ask for 2 of the sauces it comes with. Never had a bad chicken dish, but I don't eat red meat so I can't comment on the beef or pork. Also, the fried chicken with french fries is some of the best I've had in the city. Totally NOT chinese flavored tho. Almost seems like it shouldn't be on the menu, but its good when you want some grease. Or to feed picky kids.

    So good! New order-in place!

I get so nervous ordering chinese... They either give you crappy portion sizes, doesn't taste like chinese, or wasn't what you expected. Six Happiness was anything but all that!!! Get the spare ribs they are awesome! LoMein was great, orange chicken was very orangy and moist. Not the biggest fan of the Peppered beef and tomatoes... but everything else was great!! I will definitely be ordering from here again!!
