very reliable Paki
I order from Sirtaj almost every week. The value is almost ridiculous (that means lots of bang for the buck, silly). Nice man on the phone, no-nonsense operation (I can tell) and quick delivery. Food? Reliable, very reliable. No big surprise, no frills (sides are packed in aluminum foil) but for this Chelsea lad who can't get a break at those local snobbish eateries (Thai who?) it's all about Sirtaj y'all. Holla!

Consistently good
I go to Sirtaj for lunch at least once a week. And I absolutely love almost everything they have to offer. It's not a place you go to for a great ambiance It's self-service, and the people behind the counter couldn't be nicer. Anyone saying otherwise, is going in with completely different expectations. They're only offering good food. So if you are looking for a fancy place with bone-china and polished silverware, you'll be hugely disappointed.

very good chicken tikka masala
I work nearby and decided to test it out for lunch. It was really good. This dish was more spicey than I'm used to, but very flavorful. It was a nice portion for a fair price. Fast prep time too. Definitely worth trying.

good nonfancy indian
I work in the neighborhood and get lunch here every week or so. great deals on veggie curries, good deals on meat curries, decent prices on combo plates. dishes are made-to-order and don't come from a steam table. food is moderately spiced and portions are generous. note that orders come with rice OR naan

Subpar Indian food
I'm a big fan of Indian food and order Indian quite a bit. I thought I'd give Sirtaj a try since it's a block from where I live. I ordered the chicken tikka masala as well as a vindaloo. The food tasted and smelled musty. Yes, musty. I can't think of a better word. It's like the food was sitting out for days. I just don't get the good reviews here. I also happen to be South Asian so I know my Indian food and seldom have I had Indian food like this.

Disappointing
I love Indian so I am pretty lenient with my judgment; as long as the meat is of decent quality and the proper spices are used, I'll enjoy it. I ordered from this place based on the reviews and I was thoroughly disappointed. Two meat entrees that my friend and I ordered were beyond bad. The sauce was decent but the meat tasted as if it had just been defrosted from the Ice Age. Raita was runny and tastelss.
