    Overrated

The food was average at best-- the hummus was outrageously salty, and the chicken was nondescript (greasy but tender). But most of the food is sitting, prepared, in a steam table-- what about any of this makes the place so special? I was really unimpressed.

    Awesome Turkish Food

Finally great food, great price and great staff! Our neighborhood has been lacking this kind of place for years. Thanks!

    Turkish Triumph!

This cash only neighborhood joint is this best in my area. The best value, the best food and definitely the best Turkish ... And the waitresses ,,,, wow ..... hot. Even the cash only thing is OK since it is probably the reason they keep the prices so LOW .... Great crowd, cool decor and BYOB is nice too ..... no corking fee and the Wine / liquor store is right across the street.

Food very good, delivery service not good

I have ordered several times from Sip Sak, and the food has always been very good. Like other reviewers, I highly recommend the hummus and pita bread, borek, baked lamb over eggplant puree, okra with lamb, and baklava. I have never dined at the restaurant itself. However, delivery as of late has not been good at all. For two deliveries in a row items were missing. The first time, they sent the item when I called. The next time, I was asked if I could be "owed" the item for future delivery. I argued against that since I am not sure I am ever going to order again. I guess the honesymoon as a delivery cutomer is over.

    Hot waitresses!

My boyfriend and I laugh endlessly when we go here because despite our infatuation with one another, our jaws drop every time we see the servers here. All the girls are Turkish, nice, and sexy! My poor boyfriend sometimes tries to conceal the fact that he's checking them out, but he shouldn't bother, because so am I! Food is deliciously simple. The back of the restaurant has an old style family atmosphere.

    That's Gooooood Turkish!

Excellent food at this charming restaurant. I recommend the cold appetizers and home-made bread. Also, the soups are great and really good on a cold night.

    Good stuff

The borek is a great appetizer. The gyro is quite good and the falafel may be better. They are very generous with the feta on the greek salad. I will order again.
