so it turns out in order to open a sandwich place on UWS & dare to call it "a boutique retail food destination", all one needs to do is bake a "specialty" bread, smear ground mustard and throw some oscar meyer type rounds of meat with hand torn cheese squares to fit into elongated shape bread. Appalling, shameful & unacceptable. it's sad to continuously witness downtown restaurant entrepreneurs & franchise owners abuse the neighborhood by treating it as an unsophisticated suburban extension of Cool Manhattan, betting on people just "buying in" to "current trendy" regardless of quality or price. this place is a sandwich version what a newly open Dakota Bar stands for - over-priced BORING menu with an expensive chandelier hanging from the ceiling to make it all better after a 12$ trial mix bowl you just paid for.
