    Murray Hill Sleeper

    This newish murray hill restaurant is just the best in every way. The food, atmosphere, and service are top notch. I've never been disappointed.

    Very friendly staff and great food

    From the minute my friend and I walked in until the moment we left, the staff could not have been nicer. The waiter knew the answer to every question we had about every item on the menu and he even gave great suggestions. The manager stopped at our table more than once to find out how our meals were. I thought the presentation of the meals was phenomenal, the portions were large and everything tasted great. I especially recommend the goat cheese french toast and the she crab soup. All together a great experience.

    Hidden Gem

    Went to Silverleaf last night and was really wowed. We had the chevre french toast app. and the mixed lettuces salad. Salad was as good as could be expected. French toast was one of the best starters I've ever had; superb combination. For dinner we had the hangar steak and the lamb frites. Both were cooked perfectly and we especially enjoyed the short rib-filled knish. While the restaurant was admittedly pretty empty, we received excellent service all around. We will absolutely be returning.

    Transformative Experience

    What a fantastic find! The food was off-the-charts - rich, decadent, completely original, and thoroughly satisfying. The Westfield Chevre French Toast with market mushrooms and truffle fondue was a transformative experience. My sense of taste was flooded with so much flavor and texture that the rest of my senses momentarily shut down - and for a few seconds, I forgot to breath. Service was very knowledgable and attentive. The decor is beautiful and intimate. There were no issues with the music that previous reviews alluded to. We are already looking forward (practically salivating) to our next visit and can't wait to share this "best kept secret" with all of our friends.

    Not your traditional white restaurant

    First I thought the bar was terrrific, the color and the lighting. The dining room was beautiful, and the food interesting and tasty, my friends and I were surprised as some of the reviews have been tough on it.

    Yummy dinner, poor desserts

    The food and service was pretty good, the drinks were nice, made with fresh juices. The one thing that sucked big-time was the dessert menu. Nothing on the menu didn't have some type of alcohol in it (e.g., rum cake), and the "warm cookies" aren't even warm!

    Great lunch find

    I have enjoyed lunch 2x here in the last month and welcome this beautiful place to the neighborhood. The food is delicious and imaginative. The ice tea freshly brewed and the serving of creme brulee ample for 2 and very addictive. The staff is terrific, knowledgeable and attentive!
