Though it is pricey and limited to traditional diner food, it's pricyness is due to a long (40 years) tradition of having excellent seafood, and for being open an accommodating all night. Certain things are excellent (cheese cake, burgers, soup, gyro, blintzes, danishes, MILKSHAKES) and they're known for their seafood - Lobster in particular, and their breakfast - the omelette's are more like rest of menu - but the rest is perfect. The eggs, BACON, and fries, home or french... and last but not least excellent challah bread. Perhaps best is the ability to splurge after a bad day on an unbelievable lobster and etc..... at any time of day.

Although a bit pricey, the quality of the food has been first rate and consistent during our 20 years as customers. Turkey dinner is great. So is the steamed lobster. A good kitchen on the UES.

The food was great, and the restaurant is beautiful and seems to be very clean. The Cheescake is INCREDIBLE, the best cheescake I have ever tasted in my life!!

Reasonably priced burger. Superb taste. Lot's of cheese on the grilled cheese. Yum... The french fries actually taste like potatoes. I had an omelette and it was good.

Overpriced for below-par food. Dry omelettes and bad coffee. The only plus is its location.

The food is average at best. The price is high for a mediocre omelette or sandwhich. Not a bad place, but you can do better.
