Good, but....
The place should update its interior...the food was decent as expected for a diner....the service was good, until the end. the check arrived and was getting up to pay, when the waiter came running over and corrected a $3.00 mistake, bringing the tab higher. Most places would have said, "oops, ok, made a mistake" but he took the check out of my hand and made his edits. the 3.00 would have gone to his tip, but since this was such a tacky move, it went to the diner and not him. if they do that closely of an audit, which i doubt, they must treat those waiters so poorly.

poorest diner around
place needs a major over-haul, food is barely average, service poor rude and unappreciateive of customers, lastly prices outrageous for a diner. skip this place and look around for another...even if its a cab ride...you'll be happy you didn't eat here

Best diner around!
We've been going to this diner for decades. It's great for a quick bite after a movie with a group of friends. The service is usually VERY fast and the food is well prepared. My favorites are the French onion soup and the cheeseburgers but my friends enjoy the fish dishes and some of the sandwiches, salads, and platters a great deal. The selection on the menu is huge. Their desserts are numerous and mouth watering. The prices are reasonable for the UES.

Very good
Food was pretty good for a diner and the service fast and attentive. The tuna wrap was very good and the carrot cake was excellent.

Order from here all the time
Best diner in the 10 block radius. I order their cheeseburgers all the time. Great place for a quick bite. Wish it were a little cheaper, but still well worth it and especially for the super fast delivery

Ugh
After having lived in the area and coming back to the 'hood for a visit, I stopped in for old times sake only to get served a massive plate of disappointment. I did get an omelette, but it was some sort of weak veggie broth and celery filling and topping this one, and if considering that I usually like my veggies more than most, you might understand how bad this was - but probably not. Coffee was like dirty water. Fresh squeezed juice may have been fresh squeezed, but I am not sure from what. Will never go again. Nor should you.
