Great Falafel
I was looking for a falafel fix and stopped in here after a visit to Lincoln Center. The reviews here were pretty good and the location was convenient for my purposes. I was certainly not disappointed with the falafel - nice texture and flavor. The "hot" sauce was a little mild for my taste, but I've learned you have to expect that east of the Mississippi River. But I would definitely recommend this place to falafel lovers.

good food and nice people!
The food is good but even better are the very personable people who work here. They are extremely accommodating. They made an error with the amount of my delivery order and came back immediately to correct it. Huge portions for the money and excellent customer service.

great!
I discovered this about 2 months ago and have been going at least twice a week since! Amazing food and fab prices for the upper west. The service is wonderful, the guys will sometimes give me something new to try and of course something new that I get hooked on. I love the grape leaves and hummus :)

Oh MAN!!!
The BEST hummus I have ever had! Creamy, smooth, not too garlicky. And the falafel is cooked just right.

Your go-to neighborhood falafel joint.
These are nice guys. The falafel was above average. Those girthy grape leaves for 75 cents each remains one of the rare deals in all of NYC.

Good Food Rude Service
One of the only healthy take out places in the area. The people who work there can be rude so I choose another restaurant when I'm not in the mood to be treated in a brusque manner. Or order delivery.

Okay for NY Arabic ...
Sido is a fabulous upper west institution and a tremendous value. The food is pretty good and the staff is very sweet. Given the limited options for Arabic food in NY it's about the best there is for non-kosher cheap take out ... but c'mon ... does anybody ever travel outside this town?
