Some amazing cocktails and probably one of the best fried chickens I've had north of the Mason Dixon line. It's pricey, but in the end worth it. A nice unpretentious neighborhood joint with above average food.

Went there for dinner based on the rave reviews but was not impressed. It is not a bad place, but it is certainly nothing special. The burgers and drinks are just ok. The best part is that the place has a really cool vibe and atmosphere.

Sidecar is one of the best places in Brooklyn for an affordable sit-down dinner that feels expensive. Great place for a date or to meet with friends. I have heard their oyster guy came from Blue RIbbon and you can tell because the oysters are literally the best I've ever had. The fried chicken is really good too.

I do not know if I can say anything bad about this place. The owners go out of their way to know you, the food is exceptional, burgers are fantastic, drinks are perfect, wait staff is always available........let me think.........kids are welcome and encouraged to have fun, and on the other hand - great bar scene, generous bar..........I am trying............I KNOW - I would like to see more food on the menu since it is so delicious and for this lovely place to serve brunch...but none of that is really bad is it? Great food, great bar...great place!

I've had everything on the menu and its all really good. I especially liked the Salmon that literally melts in your mouth. Start off with the Oysters or Crostini complimented by a fresh Gimlet or Sweet Action beer and you're all set. Check it out.

Sidecar is absolutely what the South Slope needed: great internationally inspired soul food at reasonable prices, quality cocktails to match an outstanding beer list, and all in a space that feels like something to come home to. The owners are two brothers who know their stuff - and their customers - and together they've put together one of the best Americana bars in Brooklyn. Well done, gentlemen. I'll be back, again and again.

This place has an unbelievable menu. I've only been there three times but each time I tried something different and loved it. They have a very eclectic menu but still get the classics like burgers right on. Great atmosphere and service too. Plus the kitchen is open ridonkulously late.
