#1 in NYC
they have the right bread. they don't skimp on meat (i recommend the whole sandwich if you're hungry. they offer "shorty" or 1/2 size sandwiches which are great, especially if you're drinking beer. they have a bunch of killer craft beers on tap. 20 i think. my friend the lame vegetarian had the veggie combo and it was really delicious - fresh broccoli rabe, hot and sweet peppers, marinara sauce and sharp provolone. i might actually order it next time. 2 thumbs up for shorty's in a big way!

SIMPLY THE BEST
I can't imagine a better cheesesteak than this. Amazing bread filled with the best meat and melted cheese (don't forget the onions!). It just oozes flavor and provides comfort. A great tap beer selection (22 as of 5/9) too! All of this and a sweetheart of a barmaid named Maria. How can you not want to have another?

best italian fries
I have to say these are the best fries i've tasted. They are crunchy and have so much flavor. The cheesesteaks are great 2. The fastet delivery ever. Litterally took about 20 minutes. I would def recommened this spot.

Addictive Cheesesteak
This place will be the death of me. I'm totally addicted to the cheesesteaks here and I constantly crave it. It's definitely the best cheesesteak in the city and the best that I've had outside of philly. The whole shortly's steak with wiz is the way to go. Delicious, and fast delivery too!

awesome delivery
Our law firm orders roughly 80 cheesetaks every Thursday or Friday. We make sure to get the sweet and hot peppers, mushrooms and fried onions on the side. We've been doing this for about eight weeks now and everyone is addicted. The food is always on time (and we're on the east side). It's always hot and delicious. Shorty's easily makes best cheesesteaks in the city - and we've tried them all.

Worst Policy EVER
I asked for them to deliver 20 blocks away, and they required $150 dollar minimum order?! When I asked them to deliver 50 cheesesteaks they of course said "Sir, we can't deliver that many cheesesteaks" No #$^$#, that's the point, its a stupid rule that doesn't make any sense.
