Dude, this cheesesteak is the best in the city. It might be by Port Authority but it's worth making the truck over there. The atmosphere is great, the bartenders and waitstaff is helpful and kind, and the steaks are the best I've had around here...and I've been to them all. I can't wait to see about the one on Madison.

Really?
First I called to place an order. They would not take my order over the phone. So I went over. Last time I got the lunch special, had my beer while I waited and got great service. This time-- beer is for eat in only. Then I was told not to sit at the bar for take out. Then I was asked to move one one person came in (who wanted a table) and there were 4 seats available. When I got my food, the roll was covered in grease and I got four measly packets of ketchup for a whole cheesesteak and $4 fries. Think twice unless you are eating in. And sit at the tables, the female bartender was rude.

Man cave away from home
This was our first time at Shorty's. Best sandwiches around. Italian fries were out of this world and all the food came out hot. Beer was nice and cold as it should be. The service was great. We couldn't believe we were being taken care of by two servers. Every time they came by they asked if we needed anything. I do alot of traveling and if you want to have a good time you find out were the locals hang out. Shorty's is it. You need to give this place a try. We'll differently come back.

Speedy delivery but soggy
I have been wanting to try this place for their philly cheese steak but the delivery of a soggy sandwich and really dripping greasy onion rings that seamed like they were sitting around forever and refried for the order was disappointing. Perhaps this place is good only when eating there so that you get a buzz on from a few beers first and then you can send the food back if they bring it to you as disappointing as when it was delivered to me. Speedy delivery.......i guess the trade off is evident. I would have waited for a better delivery!
