    Best Sushi, great value!

We never leave reviews - but the quality of the sushi at Shimizu is like no other!

    Good sushi

You can only write poor reviews about this place if you're used to Japanese food that has been Americanized. This is the authentic good stuff. Yes it's a bit pricey, but if you go during lunch time they have menus around $10 such as chirashi with udon. Bu

    Love it...

I eat there at least once a week. For those who have given it a bad review, you must have had a bad day. The owner is on the premisis, the staff is great, some language barriers, but very polite fun people. If Hideki Matsui eats here (whenever he comes

Do not believe the great reviews.

The food was subpar and I do not know but can guess who is writing all the great reviews. Oshinko had off flavors. Seaweed salad was subpar and sat on a mayo? dressing. Yellowtail Collar was a little old (fishy). The sushi hand rolls had moist nori a

    true to the blue

Anyone who criticize Shimizu's sushi for its quality don't know what they're talking about. They have the best selection of what the Japanese call "hikari-mono, " the fishy fish that American palate cannot properly appreciate. Forget tuna (red) or hamachi
